Thank you so much, that helped a whole bunch! Finally I can have my favorite ghost partner back.
Great downloadable though :)
Does she only use the different voice for certain commands, while keeping her old voice for her various comments?
I wasn't aware i could get her stuff to not show up in her inventory, I actually just left her standard NP (non-playable) equipment there I think, so it not showing up would probably be a good idea really...
Thanks for the kind words though :) I'm hopin' the positive is outweighing the negatives for ya and you continue to enjoy this mod. I'll take a look into the stuff you mentioned next time I'm bobbing around the Creation Kit :) Enjoi!
On a similar note, maybe her two daggers and the second Zephyr she carries should be flagged as standard equipment so that they don't show up in her inventory.
Other than that, great mod, and I like that as ghost, she is visible from far away, which saves me some time when playing "where did my follower run off to after I asked her to wait?".
I love how it just opens up the game so much
If anyone's too concerned it's very easy to change it in creation kit... of course if enough people want it changed to the same thing i'll look into making it a permanent change on here, or post another version
Thanks for a great mod!
Yeah it'll work with your legendary edition since that's essentially a bundle of the base game with all of the DLC.
To start the quest you need to read a book called the Aetherium Wars. It's a white covered book with some nice patterning on the front. There's a few copies around the Dawnguard fort and the Castle Volkihar, but I'd say the one on the bottom of Farengar Secret-Fire's bookshelf inside his study is easiest to find. Reading that should initiate "Lost to the Ages" and you should get a marker to go to a Dwarven ruin. Alternatively you can enter Arkngthamz without having read the book, if you can find it.
Hope this helped :)
Lol oooh kierant, I like that idea tbh but I don't know if I've got the skills to implement it to be honest. I've been trying to sort out a basic(ish) quest with a necromancer, but no joy yet
Is the girls name Asta? She's wearing clothes like Ysolda I think? Sure I can have a look for you. Dunno if I can come up with a legitimate sense making way to make her want to follow you, but I can give it a go :P
Sorry if I don't reply to all of your comments, I have a feeling there might be quite a few random ones following this request... :P
Thanks all of you for your continued support, I didn't think this mod would get so popular :)
Don't forget to rate up if you're enjoying the mod - I'm enjoying hearing from you all :)
I agree she had a really unique attitude, maybe she's just not as fussed about anything quite as much as she was the Aetherium Forge... ;)
At the moment I'm super busy with uni stuff but maybe in a few weeks I'll see if I can bring any of the ol' Katria back (not promising anything but I agree that would be really cool)
Also, the quest thing, I haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure I'd be hopeless at getting that to work considering how long this took me :L but all of you who've been asking about quests on here and on my flesh and blood version - I will give it a look -
I think you are looking in the right area for the .nif files. If you want the base game nifs than you'll want to be looking in the section of (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data which calls itself "Skyrim - meshes.bsa"
Double click on that and to open it you'll need a BSA unpacker for those files. If you dont have one already i think this is the one I have and is generally accepted as the one to use http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36901/? (should make a little fallout nuclear symbol come up to the left of the aforementioned "Skyrim - meshes.bsa" file. Then when you're in there you can search at the bottom for femalebody and it should come up (_0 and _1)
Let me know if it still doesn't work for you, took some getting used to for me :)
