There is a bug where transport ships from AI's will just drop the diplomats in the ocean, and the diplomats will just go back to the ship and it keeps looping like this.

Really struggling with Lag unfortunately so im having to unsubscribe., but if you sort the lag out this would be the best mod on workshop for this game. it adds so much!

Would be the best mod for the game, but if you have a large or sprawling kingdom, or vikings are attacking the frame rate craters and becomes unplayable, and sadly Im one of those ppl that like to make large kingdoms. Also like other K&C mods isn't getting updated.

This is a Game changing mod, unfortunately very laggy and almost unplayable in late game. But, really, is almost impossible for me to go back to Vanilla, very impressive, Thanks :)

Definitely laggy i'd recommend doing a performance update but this is really cool and this should be a thing in the Unmodded game

really great mod, unplayable even when lowering graphics settings and resolution. using a Ryzen 5800x and 3070ti and cant even use the map editor, brush sizes larger then 1 are not usable or the game freezes up. map generation does not work every time and can crash the game on generation/processing of the map.

Not sure if you still work on this, but with the new updates it causes issues - AI kingdom convoys will eternally bump into a high shore wall and be stuck forever.

@Menace3Q This is an issue with "New Lands". It causes extraordinary lag with the AI pathfinding, especially if you have AI kingdoms and bandit attacks enabled.

Playing with a combination of including this, new lands, and new houses so not entirely sure if this itself is the issue but seems to be the most likely. Having issues with extreme fps drops making the game unplayable. This wasn't an issue until I was placing a tavern and again when placing other buildings with a radius. Issue got exponentially worse when AI kingdoms visited for the first time to the point where I gave up and walked away. Issue seemingly fixed itself after AI left (I was still not at my pc for a while) but frames are still poor. Any advice or suggestions?

the terrain high is nice and its a cool add on to the game but dear lord this needs to be updated, it bricks the game hard half the time it crashes the game just trying to generate a new map. and if you do get a map working it gets very laggy fast if you have AI kingdoms involved and slows to a snails pace when vikings show up. love the mod but it desperately needs a performance update done to it

An option in the mod menu for max terrain height would be great, with maybe a disclaimer about going over X as max not being recommended, or make it a range of say 2 or 3 to 10 or 12. Not sure what the effect of higher numbers would be I figure 8 was probably picked for a reason. And while making it 2 or 3 may reduce the effect dramatically it would still give the option of some change in elevation, with scalability from there to what ever number you deem is the max playable.

A little too extreme in my opinion. Would be more effective and friendlier to the game if the elevation options were 1-4 instead of 1-8.

Great mod, but the performance issues were too big for my PC and the vikings randomly went underwater and sat in the middle of the map which only made the lag worse.

@TomKing777 yes this is a known incompatibility; Elevation adds necessary building limitations to the game, which NoBuildingLimitations disables as part of its patch of the game. These include some for visual consistency, such as aqueducts, Norias, and Reservoirs being disallowed on elevation, and some that can affect functional properties of buildings and potentially produce undefined behavior (all tiles under buildings must be on the same elevation tier -- some game systems use one tile's height for properties of others, etc.). I would not recommend using both at once.

NoBuildingLimitations (Stable branch) is not stable with this mod. NoBuildingLimitations (Stable branch) allows you to put buildings on walls but when i put this mod as one of the mods for my world the buildings you put on the walls dont work and the buildings a put on the ground under the walls not the top. would like this mod and NoBuildingLimitations (Stable branch) to work together

@vem this can happen sometimes on especially large maps (typically those modded with New Lands) if your hardware cannot handle the increased load. If your world isn't modded and otherwise doesn't appear to be generating at a preset for a large map, please open a discussion thread with further details so I can track down the issue.

@RAM that seems serious; I'll look into that when I get the chance -- they should not be concerned about anything on an unreachable tile (including resources) under the current system so there's definitely a bug I can fix somewhere.

I had a few very unlucky issues when a Dragon dead corpse falls atop an elevation that cannot be reached. The dead corpse spawns alot of meat and almost all my peasants will get stuck trying to get it as the meat is considered top priority over other jobs and will eventually despair into not eating and the colony just starts staight up dying of hunger.
- So workaround solution is always scaffolding or digging out the unreachable parts around base. To make them accessible.
- This is not a cry for a fix! - Its purely a shout out with some hopefully helpful information if someone else get caught in the same situation as I did.

I am currently at year 277 and the performance is having a hard time on the huge viking attacks (Hard Mode) aswell. but as soon as the event is over its totally playable. (I might try to do one lesser difficulty next time for better performance)

Also avoid any other mods while playing with elevation to keep the performance at best. Especially the "New Houses" Mod! (It made the experience unplayable almost from the get go)

Doesn't work for me, unsure if other mods are the cause of it or not, but it doesn't work for me. Each time im about to almost create a new world, game crashes.

@Agentfox Amazing mod and works like a charm! I experience no performance issues. However, it seems like it's not compatibile with parks and statues dlc as I can't place any parks or statues. Does anyone experience similar issue?
