Really fun game, been playing a LOT with friends lately
There are some servants that their kits have some quite counterintuitive points that are detrimental to their gameplay, and they dont seem that good to begin with tbh
First one that comes to my mind would be Kriemhild, never seen her do any good in a 4+ player match and her kit is overall disliked among my peers

@Sofia Gender based effects were a bit more common earlier in the game's development, but were phased out over time. The only ones that still remain are on Penth and d'Eon, iirc.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason D'Éon has the 'change gender' rule? There doesn't seem to be a single card in the game that references gender except her, and it doesn't have any mechanical effects. It really could just be removed or changed to something else that actually matters.

@LaggingTillNow I'm sorry, but I just double checked. There's not a single file hosted on imgur used in this mod. The source for that error message must be something else. Is there anything that's broken?

Actually some of the most fun you can have on tabletop simulator. The amount of bizarre interactions and crazy master/servant skills really makes it feel like a holy grail war; probably responsible for a majority of my hours in tabletop sim at this point. Even loads of fun if you dont know fate at all (according to my friends who ive made play, at least.) Unique, innovative, and one of those board games that really feels like its taking full advantage of being on tabletop simulator. Every match feels different and unique. Cannot reccomend enough.

@Mercu The changelog has not been updated, because nothing changed. I simply updated the patron list. A new update is still a bit off in the future

@Iseseith As a slightly more longterm project I'm working on a full rewrite of the rule book that also looks the part. Until that is done, the google-doc tablet will have to suffice.

They are a unique deck of cards that can be found next to the board, close to the golden scale.

Back again with more talk on master balances, the main two that seem to stick out to me the most are Rin and Bazzet. Rin seems like she gets too little for the amount of gems she would need to use. While Bazzet feels very easy to prevent in return for not that much of a payoff of jumping through all the hoops with her.

Nevermind. Upon further inspection there seems to be something funky going on. I hit the button 50 times and these are the results for the top servants' class:

Saber 35
Lancer 1
Archer 5
rider 1
caster 2
assassin 3
berserker 2
extra 1

I'm not really sure why I'm getting 70% saber classes on top.

That's... not true? At least it's no behavior that I can reproduce. It would not even make sense, since the saber class box is the first to be added to the bag, not the last, before the bag is shuffled. It might be a TTS bug with your session, not sure if I can do anything about that.

When you prepare the Servant pool Saber class is always on top and first to be drawn. Easy enough to fix, just shuffle the bag, but thought I would let you know.

The big note I'd been finding in my group is that there has been a bit of complexity creep- not exactly powercreep, but later additions tend to do *more* than older servants, and there are times when it feels like a standardisation pass could be done on the card text to clarify things.

There is no upper limit to the number of cards you can have in play.

If you want to know the theoretical maximum I'm not exactly sure myself, but I've seen a player with 14 active attacks at once which is difficult to top (he used Shakespeare/Hakuno, eliminated Sakura, Kairi and Kayneth and gained their ascensions, so his attacks lasted for 2 rounds and his agility cards gave him additional card plays. On top of that he had caster class and first folio, due to infinite mana)

One more question, since I haven't seen it noted, snd though it's easy to intuit, it's nice to know for sure from the designer:

What is the maximum number of attacks that one can have in play? In terms of immediate plays from hand, deck, or skill zones, alongside the 2 played normally.

Thanks a lot.
1) The current round number is equal to the number of events that have been drawn. To check the round number, mouseover the event discard pile.
2) The climax cards are the final 3 events (The night fate stood still, At the gates of Hell and Heaven's Feel). They are a seperate stack of cards under the normal event deck (face-up so they don't get mixed in with the normal events)

First of all, I have to say I'm blown away by how much effort went into the design here. The art choices are spot on, and the zones and entities are amazingly scripted too. Hats off to the creator!

However I had some questions, or at least a second pair of eyes to make sure I'm not missing/forgetting anything.

1) Is there a turn counter that I'm just missing? No worries if not, since it's an easy addition
2) The rules make mention of climax cards, but I'm struggling to find them anywhere on my current board.
