There is a Memory Leak on your mod, I went through a list of the TPU + TROM Mod, Pack that someone is creating using your mod... The moment I turned yours off, it stopped micro-freezing the game on clicking on Generals.
I don't have any understanding why it does this, unfortunately at this time. I just know that as time goes on, the leak increases.

Otherwise, amazing mod, I appreciate the effort your putting in to add that little bit of flare to the game that tells more of the story. Similar to the appreciation I have with Civilization for doing the same for wonders.

Thanks. I now see that one mod is needed, and that mod seems to need another mod as well. It has been many months since I last played Three Kingdoms, and now I can start reacquainting myself with the game again.

Looks like you are working with inner object to update this to work on his updated UI mod, that’s great!

If you want to use the expanded bios from my version please feel free. I expanded about 100 bios from 1-2 sentences into 3-4 paragraphs.

I've found a way to make it work and resize the UI tooltip that appears when you cursor over a general's name or background. I can now put HUGE amounts of biography text in the flavor text section of that tooltip. This version of the mod is completely stand alone and has no dependencies on other mods (so it can't break like when FEM disappeared).

If I credit your work may I use your biography text from your mod in this new mod?

I investigated trying to insert the bios into the character backgrounds tooltip, which did work but has limitations such as 1)it scrolls off screen because the flavor text is at the bottom of an already lengthy tooltip and 2) this would only apply to characters with unique backgrounds. Still it is an idea maybe someone smarter than me can expand on this idea? Maybe there is another tooltip for something character specific that can be used instead of background?

Is there any kind of command you can put in a string to force the tooltop box to spill over horizontally? If not I may make a ghetto version of this that reduces everyone's bio down to the one paragraph that fits. At least it's something...

Must be a pain with these updates, I'm surprised CA hasn't given mod creators more capacity to keep up with anything more than db changes.

What would need to happen to integrate whatever you need from Far East Movement into Character Biographies so you don't have that dependency? Just curious.

The method that I suggested to him worked for about 5 days prior to patch 1.7.0. Because that patch revamped the court screen, it also broke the mod as well.

No the book icons are still gone in the court screen character panels. I've tested the 194CE and 200CE Yuan Shao campaigns.

Can you see the book icons in the small character panels in the court screen? The screenshots in the mod are no longer representative of how it's supposed to look due to patch 1.6 a few months back. You can only read them in the court screen now

To be fair, with the new update, CA probably screwed this up too. I haven't had the chance to play around with patch 1.70 yet

Just a heads up, HIIIIIHAAA added the table "character_info_panel" to their mod just as you suggested, but your mod still does not work. I tried deleting some of the tables y'all have in common, but no luck. Really bummed, you have hands down the best mod on the workshop.

Hi, hope you're having a great start on 2021. Had this mod together with Far East Movement (the not original version) a couple of months back and then it worked flawless and read the bio's from the court menu. But does not work anymore. Any idea? Miss the reading ;)

The required UI mod was deleted by the original author.

There's currently a work-around using an alt version made by another user reverse-engineering the original mod. I updated the required mod section so download that and try it out.

However, even with that mod, you can only see the book icon and read the biography from the court screen (the small character panel when you hover over a general in the court), not the large character panel on the campaign map like in the screenshots. Until someone figure out how to properly mod the UI for patch 1.6.0+, this is the best I can do

It works with far east movement mod. Even if you abandon the mod please don't take it down. It still works.

Mod does not appear to be working. Tested on Cao Cao, Records mode. Biographry button doesnt appear.

The temporary far east movement mod causes duel timers to be hidden T_T It's so sad I can't use this mod because it was one of the most essential mods in my mod list.

Could you perchance add biographies below the vanilla text like the Korean biography mod below? That mod doesn't require far east movement mod.

This is a new temporary version of Far East Movement.

You can't view the bio from the large character panel anymore because that's been removed to prevent a bug with the new DLC. You can only view the bio from the court screen, the "book" icon is now in the small character panel instead.

It's a little awkward to use but it's better than nothing. This is a temporary fix afterall. The original author has been MIA since April

Shame we cant use this on its own so we didnt have to worry about the bug that disables hire,release and execute, as this helps me to remember all the characters via the bio's whom they served so I like to gather all the Shu officers (Dynasty warriors shu fan)

Good to know, admittedly I have no real intention at this point to play as a Nanman faction so I can use it on other campaigns, but hopefully it will be worked out or the original author returns.

Both that mod and the original has one major bug. When active, the Nanman heroes' personal goal disappeared from their skill tree.

So until the original author or someone else can fix that, it's still a big problem

While the original author of Far East Movement has yet to return for patch 1.6 there is a temporary replacement by HIIIIIHAAA named “全国搜人（暂时）Far East Movement (Temporary Version)” and with the 15 minutes of testing I did it seems to work fine with your biographies.

Mod no longer works with the nanman update. Sorry folks

Until the author of Far East Movement comes back and update his mod, this is out of my hand.
And he's been MIA for quite a while now.
