I love this mod works fine btw on 2.8 I know your not orignal owner of the mods but what I miss on this mod is Battleship missles. would be cool to have battleship full of missle sections :)

The Computers seem to break NSC2 on my end. Not sure why, but they prevent some NSC ships from equipping any combat computers.

@Akira_R Don't think so. They fall back to default class section graphics instead. At least that was the case last time I played.

They don't have access to Carrier computers, but they're a decent source of damage early on.

Oooh, Destroyer-Carriers? Do the Destroyers get access to the Carrier Computers now?

How good are they? I can't imagine they're too tough. Anybody have any opinions on them?

I'll echo the previous comments: some carrier sections show up but don't have weapon slots.

I had a similar problem when playing the last time, although it were the base components that had no weapons. The mod added ship sections were working fine, but the vanilla ones couldn't equip weapons.

i would like to add to this thread that for some reason the additional ship sections that are provided by this mod show up...but have no weapon slots...though the utility slots at the bottom still show up...ive tried deselecting all other mods that affect ship sections to try and get them up but it only ends up with either game crashing or taking the ship class/section away(generally speaking the only mod that directly effects ships is the NSC mod) would anyone have an idea of which mods would cause this to happen(due to playing a swarm based hive mind my focus is on carriers and corvettes...and the carrier titan sections hanger/weapon spots are missing!!)...unless its the forgotten queens mod itself(its the one that gives more hive mind origins and ascension perks)

I will be addressing these issues this week: Mod version (it functions, but probably has issues in multiplayer because Paradox), Lithoid Ship Sections (Was a similar issue to Defense Platforms), and ship computers. I'll look into NSC compatibility, but I make no promises, at least this week.

@MagnusEffect not exactly when NSC compatibility is talked about in the mod description, I think its just a plain ol issue, we'll see when the new update comes around

Some people don't want to double the complexity of their choice in ship classes :)

not sure if you are aware but the lithoids ship segments added by this mod dont fit correctly and/or use other ship data. its the same thing for sure with the defense platforms added in by defense platform longevity. Other than that i havent found anything wrong with this mod and how freaking fantastic it is.

The only thing I could suspect is the T2 tactical ship sections, but that one doesn't touch the vanilla sections either.
Any other idea what other mod might be causing this?

Needs Autonomous Ship Intellect versions of the new artillery computers. Otherwise Machine Empires can't use them.

Would it be better if NSC is above or below this mod in the launcher? When I tried this mod overwrite NSC, some graphical issues occur(mainly icons). Not sure about what happens if NSC overrides this one though.

It is pretty obvious: Combat computers support NSC and SCX ship classes. It does not add additional sections to those ship classes, however.

Advanced Missile Ships are locked behind the Advanced Missile Cruiser tech - fairly mid-to-late game and intended to complement larger fleets rather than be abused early on their own.

This is interesting.
So I took off all of my mods but this one.
Went in and tried again and it's both slots are overlapping because the guns are too big.
This is with reptile ship set.

Just finished looking over all ship sets.
It looks correct on all but Reptilian, Arthropoid and Lithoid. Reptilian being the worse one.

Playing around with Reptilian set, it looks like even some stellaris guns can clip a little with their sizes.

I don't think there's anything you can do about this as these sets slots are just too close to one another and the weapons don't scale 100% correct.

Sorry to have reported a false bug. Also thanks for updating these mods.

That sounds like a mod conflict, Flibble. Different components do appear to have different levels of size scaling. It looks entirely normal with Marauders, Whirlwinds, Devastators, and even the Advanced Weapons' Ruby missiles and torpedoes. Ruby Torps and Devastator torps do scale slightly smaller than the others, but they all look size-appropriate and don't gobble the entire ship.

Wanted to let you know that there is a graphical bug for the new 'Advanced Missile Boat corvette section'
With the two missile slots, the weapon looks to be 5 times or so bigger than the slot. Which end up covering up the whole of the front of the ship.
