@JK Just a short update. I verified the files but.... Now the mod won't even show on the freegame.
I have noticed however that since updating the files, the mod shows with a red flag on the list. Now I know this can happen with mods from TF1 but I have never had that before. It makes me wonder if something in the base game has altered.
Either way, nothing I can do makes it show for me.

@JK It just got weirder.. It seems it's a map issue because if I strip down the mods and start a new freegame, the mod appears but if I load the same mods in my (big) map, it's gone.
What I did notice however was that on a fresh map load, the crossing dependencies are missing, IE all I get are the little 'placeholder' boxes and no options for other crossings showing in the sub menu..

Either way, it's not your mod as I can get it to work in freegame mode.

I used to run CommonAPI but not on this map and I took it of the mod list due to other problems. I'm gonna try verifying the files first. Does the mod have any dependencies from other sources? I'm guessing not.

@Tommy Atkins - That's a weird one.
You could also try copying the mod folder ( 2022632020 ) from where they're download to (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780 ) and manually putting it in the game folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Transport Fever 2\mods ). The manually installed version will have cog icon in the load screen.
Or try verifying the game files.
Do you have anything like CommonAPI that runs without being added in the load screen?

Yeah, tried that. I also loaded a mod list from over two years ago but still no show. I'm puzzled by this one. I have tried changing loading order and removing all script mods too.
I can't quite understand why it doesn't show in a new game with an older mod list from a time when it was working.

@Tommy Atkins - You could try unsubscribing from it, wait a few minutes, exit Steam. Wait a minute, reopen Steam, then resubscribe, wait a few minutes, then load the game and try it again in a new game with no other mods enabled.

I'm not sure what is wrong, but even starting a new game with no other mods enabled, it isn't showing up.
I thought it was another mod causing the issue but it seems not.
I have used this great mod for years but now it isn't showing for me at all. Anyone got any suggestions?

I see this as one of the most important mods for this game for UK based maps and the thought of playing without it is unthinkable.

@reaper100 - Most likely it's conflicting with another mod. It should be compatible with other mods, but you could test it in a game without other mods. If it gives an error message and you can provide it, I may be able to investigate further.

Does this mod still work? I just started a new game and it is not in the manual. Or do I have to wait for certain year?

Yes you can draw a walk path across a railway and use the post only as you don't want gates or barriers. The paths are handy for connecting industries across tracks to cargo stations.

@briansyston - I've only tried it with roads, so I don't know if works with mods that can make non-road crossing or not.

You can use the posts only setting for walk paths.

@paulsmith-1969 - Thanks. It's just a cautionary notice. It's left over from TpF1, when removing mods would cause crashes. I don't think that can happen now, but I haven't I tested that with this particular mod.

@JK Thanks for this brilliant mod, but a quick question. When i go to enable this mod in-game, it says "Enabling this mod may cause some issues". Is it anything to worry about, or is the game just saying it? Thanks in advance.

@andy.conway - Thanks. They should appear in the list with vanilla ones when you click on the crossing. As ☠ Xenith Xenaku ☠ says, there's current an issue where the list disappears outside the window if there are too many in the list. I understand this should get fixed in the next update, whenever that comes. (If that's not issue you're having, double check the mod is showing as enabled in the Load screen.)

There are issues with most of the crossing mods even if you subscribed to this:

It's because the developer of the game (not the mod itself) forgot to program a scroll bar so you can see the hidden crossings which are out of reach without said scrollbar.

Hi I love your GB gated crossing. It worked fine in TF1 but although I subscribed on TF2 it does not come up when I lay track across a road. I still get the game vanilla ones. Not sure why ? I did everything the same as for TF1 . Any ideas why or how to make it work ? Lie some other players I too like to play on British maps with the BIG Four and this mod is perfect . Hope you can help. Thanks

great mod. one problem.... i use many other level crossings and if i activate your mod, there is no way to scroll to the others (i see only your crossings and 1 more). so.. sadly i had to deactivate your mod until someone make it possible to scroll.

@Oliver Knabe - Yes, 1400/4800 is on my list of aspirations (along with autocoaches). But there is a lot existing stuff to convert first, so it's unlikely to be within the next 6 months.

I do hate to sound impatient, but are there any plans for some of your other GWR locos to be converted for TpF2? Only asking because I've had trouble filling my lines with early motive power, and I usually try to make a map with the Big Four, and currently, there always is a distinctive lack of Gods Wonderful motive power in one area... ^^'
