I just noticed I forgot to upload the version of this for Hearthfire. I will do so but too bust to do it right now. Gives access to this storage at all Homes.

Yes it would. It would certainly change the game a lot with crafting alts etc. That said, sorry but it is impossible all that can be done is make a mod full of lots of cool gear, gold, etc.

Personally I don't do this but I think you might like it. Google creation kit and install it (it is on Steam). Fill a chest with everything you want. Place the chest somewhere easy to see. Open chest and you have the stuff. When you want to "move" more stuff edit the mod putting that stuff in the chest and so on. Making the mod in the first place, 15-10 minutes. Updating it with more stuff 5-10 minutes.

I will have to check but I think the new version of this mod includes a rock which serves as a kind of coumaflaged storage access next to each hearthfire workbench. That will need to be a seperate up`load though because this one is for without any DLC.

Player Houses really need these, or have one right outside them, and Hearthfire gomes are a must to share the building mats (except lumber)

No DLCs needed.
require any dlcs?

Man, you think modern. You just made Skyrim 21st century ^^
Nice idea, but I don't need it.
+1

Right, I just meant it would be easier to maintain. At least for me...I would not want to have to keep up with 'how many crates I have' and 'the location of the crates'; rather, use the one you stated was in the hidden room. But anyway it is nice to see some variety in one's options.

There are at least two mods here that summon a chest or something similar, sorry I can't remember the names. There is another one with a chest or something you carry in your Inventory. There is nothing to bloat savegames in this Mod.

Or maybe a craftable item that you can place down?

PS: that would make it easier to maintain ... instead of copy/pasting a bunch of references to a chest (most of which would cause savegame bloat, etc)

Why not just use a spell to summon a chest, or better yet a spell that directly opens the source container's inventory?
Thord  [author] Dec 14, 2013 @ 11:56pm
Yes. One chest in a hidden room linked to all of these crates.

So this is basically just universal storage container O.o thats useful

Just one of things I have done a few times. This time I decided to upload it.
