TIEFKUHLPIZZA was able to update GERMAN MARCHING MUSIC to run with v1.12. You should establish contact if you are still interested in making it run...

I did some research and it turns out that music.asset file in music folder is the problem. It basically removes the need for extensions in music.txt, and they are defined in music.asset instead. It's a shame that due to that ♥♥♥♥ the old system isn't working and Paradox didn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about informing community about this. On the other hand, that was expected of them.

Zucklov is right. With this latest update, it's not a matter of changing "supported_version". I've did some minor troubleshooting but there's nothing I can see will fix it. All that I see is "No music currently playing." I don't know if there's fix for it, but I promise all of you as soon as Paradox fixes whatever they did in this last patch, I will make this mod available for use again!

It seems that none of the music mods are working anyway. Up-to-date mod Purple Phoenix Arise has the same problem with its custom music. Paradox has gone full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ *again* with this.

I had the same problem with this mod like 'Warcrimes' and some other people.

The mod was only repeating 1 or 2 songs over and over again. I've disabled now all other mods and dlc's that add new or different music. It works fine now, just remember to turn other music off if you want to play as a german nation.

At long last... the Austrian Empire songs have now been integrated into this mod!

It's a work in progress, there are many Austrian marches to be included in later patches.

I must be getting a different download than everyone else. The forum download is 120MB, while the one I am getting through the workshop is 40, and is lacking an .mod file. I can modify the forum's .mod to make it compatible with 1.11, but in the game, I am only hearing vanilla music.

Go to "Your Files -> Paradox Interactive -> EUIV -> mod". Open the file "music_german_empire.mod" with text editor and change line
supported_version="1.10"
to
supported_version="1.11"
Launcher works after that.

@Kejsare: The new songs are nice :)

I'm having the same problem as thedanupstairs. Launch it and it is unclickable, then when i relaunch it is no longer there.

Hey Kejsare, I'm having some trouble getting the mod to run. When I download it, the button shows up only once as blue and it should be clickable; except it can't be enabled. Usually when I close the launcher and relaunch, it's there and if it's up to date, it works. When I close/reopen, the button disappears.

The mods that are outdated shows up, and in >Paradox>Mods the Music:TGE is there, all 150mb, but it isn't in the launcher and it won't play ingame. Any idea what the problem is? I tried extracting it, into a new folder in the mod parent folder, but nada. Thoughts?

Hey Kejsare, I have had used your mod for a while now, and I must say that it's simply wonderful! I was wondering if I could have your permission of using the soundtracks as a suggestion (or mini-mod) for Kaiserreich for Darkest Hour (I would give you credit of course).
