@Teddyk late reply but i appreciate it
JEELEN 29. juli 2017 kl. 11:02
@Teddyk Just wondering about TSL support, not 'thousands of mods'o-0
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 29. juli 2017 kl. 5:19
@Tom Scrotum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNK9YPFW4SU
@JEELEN I am not truely understand what you want to say. I don't do any mod support whatever it is. If you are using a mod that is changing all Shrines Faith yield to 2 then you have to manually adjust it in XML for Cherokee Building etc.. There are thousands of mods and I can't truely bother with that.
JEELEN 29. juli 2017 kl. 4:57
@Teddyk Great addition, but do you add any mod support?
Awuga 8. okt. 2016 kl. 20:31
What's the music for the cherokee civ? I really wanna know the name and where I can get it, cause I really like it.
000.1 12. aug. 2016 kl. 5:35
hello teddy i doesn't understand how to play numidia on YNAEMP.
I must download the first 10 links??
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2016 kl. 8:43
The progress toward adopting new tech is not displayed in Espionage overview. Both abilities work correctly (tested right now ~ version 20).
Jermz. 25. apr. 2016 kl. 5:56
I'm having some problems with the cherokee UA. The diplomats don't seem to be gaining any technology and just sit on schmoozing. Also the eternal flame does not seem to be gained instantly.
Sheep Sheepington 11. mar. 2016 kl. 16:28
@Teddyk I understand this, but it was a source of initial confusion that should be noted.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2016 kl. 7:54
Of course not. The Settler was not trained in any city.
Sheep Sheepington 10. mar. 2016 kl. 21:07
The Eternal flame does NOT function with the "Colective Rule" policy
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 10. jan. 2015 kl. 14:04
First ten sets have Coordinates for those maps, but you have to download additional mod.
Link is on the top of page:

Beenoc 10. jan. 2015 kl. 13:28
Does this have YNAEMP support? I don't see it anywhere in the description.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 7. jan. 2015 kl. 4:27
It has used to be. (now it is Eternal Fire, shrine replacement)
Imho the fact that Cherokee made their own alphabet and were the first american (*not counting european immigrants) to print the newspaper in their mother-language was quite significant. You can read about Cherokee Phoenix if you want. :) Firaxis made more "questionable" UB choices like Hanse (it is not even the building...) or Coffee Shop.
Av Rand 6. jan. 2015 kl. 17:07
The Unique building is newspaper....?
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2014 kl. 2:48
@adeelfaqih
It is complicated, because it can happen only if other civ has already existing Unique replacement, but to change from 25% to 100% is rather easy (you would have to open numidian lua files and find the line randoming number).

Thank you all for support.
ShackMcBlack 1. okt. 2014 kl. 18:04
I've been looking for a cherokee civ for a long time, thanks for this! :)
adeelfaqih 4. sep. 2014 kl. 16:52
Is it possible to beef up Numidias Chance of unique replacement a bit? Or can it be done easily by oneself? Great mods btw, keep up the good work!
CryingBear 1. sep. 2014 kl. 2:39
Thank you. So much. I'm always flustered that games include the Lakota and Iroquois but ignore the Cherokee. This mod makes my day.
Mihawk 31. aug. 2014 kl. 14:38
je comprend pas comment choisire dans le jeux, je trouve pas
adeelfaqih 28. aug. 2014 kl. 23:39
Great work Teddyk. Just keep em coming! :)
Sub Zippo 3. aug. 2014 kl. 16:47
On paper, I like these a lot. Can't wait to see them in action. Thanks.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 10. juli 2014 kl. 9:06
I have just tested it. Works fine.
What is worthy note is fact that you are not chosing Free technology, it is chosen randomly and you got only Popup.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 10. juli 2014 kl. 8:31
Well, the other civ has to be more advanced than you (have more tech than you). Probably useless on lower levels.
Or I have messed something up with code.
76561198109593364 10. juli 2014 kl. 6:03
Cherokee UA: I tested it for 50 turns with a diplomat in the capital and no free technology was granted. How should it work ?
Smoking Skull 14. maj 2014 kl. 0:13
dlc?
kevinsmith4016 11. maj 2014 kl. 14:38
oh, ok. well whenever you can, can you make any or know of any or if that's asking too much. There aren't that many civs on vanilla or on mods for vanilla.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 11. maj 2014 kl. 14:04
None of my civs are available for vanilla (non-dlc) game.
kevinsmith4016 11. maj 2014 kl. 13:13
Hello, I subscribed to this mod but i notice that a lot of these civ mods won't work on my game. To let you know i got the crappy version that you buy at stores for $20. (Not Brave New World). Any civs that i can download and play with on mine? thanks
Smoking Skull 10. maj 2014 kl. 12:49
I subscribed to this mod, but for some reason these civs wont come up when I go to choose my civ to play as (and yes, I tried restarting civ!)
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 7. maj 2014 kl. 14:01
I was considering him as a leader during creation.

Edohi was a mythological (oral tradition) hero - suggested by a person who passionate in native americans' history. Afterall, he requested this tribe to be made.
Funny Joke Goes Here 7. maj 2014 kl. 13:40
I'm from the capital of the Cherokee Nation and I have never heard of Edohi nor did a Google search show anything. If you just made up that leader, here is a real leader that the Cherokee view as their greatest: Chief John Ross (Guwisguwi).

He fought against the Trail of Tears in the Supreme Court, fought to get their lands back, and lead them through the Civil War and Reconstruction.

Just a suggestion.

murena2 29. apr. 2014 kl. 8:58
The Hittite seems to be working now
murena2 28. apr. 2014 kl. 14:21
both
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 27. apr. 2014 kl. 10:54
Quite surprising, I haven't encountered any problems with Hittites before. I will take look on them in free time.
Are you using BNW and GK?
murena2 26. apr. 2014 kl. 18:08
The Hittite seams to be horibly buggy, It mite just be me but the HUD dosent work att all.
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 25. mar. 2014 kl. 2:11
That's quite werid, because the model is also used for "Ethnic Diversity" (or something like that) and I believe danrell models are working on both DirectX. I had also not any issues with it.
Possible solution for you, is to use one of the in-game model. In mod folder, look for Numidian Unit xml file, there you have to replace unit <ArtDefine...> with existing one (see Civ5Units.xml for reference, Horseman or Companion Cavalry should work). Obviously, it requires a bit of knowledge about modding.
tredekka11 24. mar. 2014 kl. 20:47
There seems to be some difficulty with this mod. The textures are not loading properly.
Captain Crook 7. feb. 2014 kl. 18:07
does this involve gods/kings
lexah123 6. feb. 2014 kl. 6:47
сделайте пожалуйста перевод на русский язык
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 26. jan. 2014 kl. 4:12
As I stated, my mods are created for GK + BNW.
Please, do not be surprised if something is not working when you are using only one expansion (though, BNW stand-alone should do just fine).

In case of Hittites, it is UA "Influence with CS you could demand tribute from", which was added in BNW.
dburkhart5 25. jan. 2014 kl. 20:52
Appears you need BNW to get the Hittietes? Not available in my GK load

Walking Brazil-Respect!
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 23. jan. 2014 kl. 12:23
Please, no more pointless hate.
I am not creating any post-napoleonic civs (Germany and Brazil make me sick).

Glad you like them, I am trying do my best.
rattcage27 22. jan. 2014 kl. 13:21
Thank you, Walking Brazil, for making a Cherokee tribe, and for including ua, uu, and ub in your mods that are realistic and not horribly op! Great job.
jupiter1903 20. jan. 2014 kl. 9:20
mathew.pederson-The current Yugoslavia mods are not quite good, they certainly lack in quality. With wrong UU,UA...
Teddyk  [ophavsmand] 17. jan. 2014 kl. 6:33
It doesn't care about civilization type, but if UU is currently owned by other civ.
Let's say Poland is gifted Siege Tower, but there is no Assyria in game. You have a chance that your Catapult will be a Siege Tower.
However, if there is Assyria in game, but it has no Siege Tower (other civs has no Siege Towers as well), you will have no chance for it.

If you want to play Tomatekh's Hittites and Cherokee, Numidia; simply delete my Hittites folder from mod (unfortunately you have to do it every update).
Delport Breckland 16. jan. 2014 kl. 21:14
@Jupiter1903 - are you asking for a Yugoslavia mod? There are already 3 on the workshop.

@LS - This looks great, although I am uncertain if I will use this Hittites or Tomatekh's version, they both look good. I am curious about the Numidian Barracks though. Do I read that right that, at time of completion, there is a 1 in 4 chance of your regular units becoming the UU of another civ *currently in play*, or is that any civ installed? Thanks!
jupiter1903 16. jan. 2014 kl. 4:21
One suggestion please...
Yugoslavia was take place in both world wars, with milions of lost lives and much of collateral damage.Yugoslavia has important role in crushing last european empires.Yugoslavia was most liberal and open communist country in Europe.Only communist country with good relations with west.Only eastern european country that stand against the Soviet union.Only communist country with F-86 jets against Warsaw pact migs.Yugoslavia is one of founders of the United Nations, and founder of Non aligned movement!!!With its own model of "order".With strong industry and with one of greatest armies in Europe after WW II.One of most famous states in 20th century, and one of key players on the world stage,in show called Brave new world!...
Greetings from Serbia :)
