Agreed with the Epaulettes and Sash combo. Since the Diplomat has been put in game, perhaps you could combine this sash misc with a large bunch of ribbons on soldiers left side as one cosmetic.

I've had this idea for a long time and have yet to see anyone design it.

You should Probably combine the epaulettes and the sash together as one item. Maybe add some medals on the chest too.
