This is an amazing map! I was just wondering, since I want to try and use this map for a DND but want to alter certain rooms, is there a way to unlink certain assets?

This is very impressive work!

Hi Searanger, I've recently started building my own maps using blender and unity after taking inspiration from your own workshop items. I've been able to do most of what I want but I'm really struggling to get a trigger effect to hide/show parts of the bundle like you have with the floors on this item.

Could you share how you managed to do this, i'm really keen to develop some more buildings people can use for DnD and would like to incorporate the trigger effects to show the different floors of the buildings.

Map has been updated to fix the missing texture bug caused by the update. The link has been changed so you will need to download the lodge again.

Hello! Wow is the detail amazing! It is sweet. I have to add that sadly I am also struggling with getting it to pack into one world. The statues and gargoyles pack just fine but I cannot for the life of me get the actual building to. I echo what theyellodart77 and Markv158 have said. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Hi, this is an amazing Map. I am having the same issue that Markv158 had with being unable to bag and pack the map using OneWorld. Would love your guidance. Again this is incredible. On a side note. I imagine its not possible to make all the individual assets free moving? to move things around? unlocking the map doesnt seem to unlock individual items.

is there any chance of hiring you to create the troll skull manor from waterdeep:dragonheist? i cannot find this anywhere... nor do i have the knowledge to build it myself haha... would be extremely helpful and exciting to show my players the kinda success they will have in seeing it re-built i ntheir eyes

This is really impressive. You should create a tutorial on how to create houses or buildings like this. I definitely wouldn't mind creating one like this, not minding how long it'd take me in doing so.

Really just a tremendous mod. My players are loving it re-imagined as a haunted house. Just lovely.

@Tetjtoril. This is a known issue with one world. Don't move the map down manually. Instead right click on the map and hit L to unlock it. The map will move itself into the correct position. You may need to unlock it twice for one world to unpack correctly.
Tethtoril May 10, 2020 @ 5:25am
Sometimes it packs but then when building it just floats in the sky above a cloud. I can manually move it down but then one world stops working since it hasn't finished building.
Tethtoril May 10, 2020 @ 5:21am
Can't seem to pack this into One World, it doesn't seem to be detected as an object

Pushed a small update to replace some links that died for no reason and fix a minor collider issue with the terrain. Reload the workshop map with caching off to download the update.

@Magnus - I seperate each floor into children. Then I use animations that disable or enable those children as animations. Use the TTS effects script to control them as trigger effects.
Magnus Apr 23, 2020 @ 9:37am
Looks awesome!

How did you manage to make states in Unity?
Did you find a guide or is it something you knew how to do allready?
Im trying to make 3D maps myself, and I'd like to click to remove 1st, 2nd floor etc. like you have.

Same, was wondering about Chapter 4?
king of nothin Apr 15, 2020 @ 11:19am
nothing on chapter 4?

Astonishing map! I'm new to TTS and currently testing the program to invite my group. Using this map as my training grounds, I tried to add Fog of War on the rooms, but usually the whole mansion just disappears (unless the FoW is marked as white, my color for what I understand). Is it something I'm not noticing? The whole house counts as one object? Can I disassemble it to make rooms appear as they are explored?

This is a really great map!! I love the idea of toggleing the different floors on an off. Would you mind sharing how you've done that? I've been playing with the TTSAssetBundle scripts for a while now and the way I see it I had to create a loop for every possible combination. But clearly that's not how you've done it :P
markvi58 Apr 2, 2020 @ 6:39pm
Thanks for all of the help! My players audibly gasped when they first saw the lodge. You rock!
Searanger  [author] Mar 31, 2020 @ 6:55pm
@markvi58 - I've sent you a friend invite. I currently have it imported into One World so it shouldn't be an issue.
markvi58 Mar 30, 2020 @ 4:04pm
This is an amazing map. Right now with COVID-19 keeping me from getting my group together, we're moving to TTS. My players will be going to the Lodge in this next session.

I'm having trouble getting this into One World or Sky Tools. Does anyone know how I would accomplish such a thing? I can't drop it into a bag and when I just put it on a table, One World doesn't see it to pack it.
Searanger  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 7:06pm
@nymeros Some of the assets I have bought over the years when there's been various sales on the unity store. Other things I make as needed in blender. Everything is assembled in unity.
Nymeros Mar 10, 2020 @ 5:06pm
Wonderful Map! Congratulations!
May I ask some questions please!? Did you create this on Unity? If so... did you pay for all those assets? Or it could be find for free?
I am making my own maps there, but my resources are limited.
ItchyDani3l Mar 10, 2020 @ 12:10am
Your maps look really high quality man.
I'm gonna add them to my curated D&D workshop collection! Good job.
Wish I could be more active on here... though I'm glad other creators are still working.
InFlux Feb 28, 2020 @ 5:42pm
This shit is top notch! Thanks! And keep putting these out! Can't wait to see what you do in Talespire!
Gondor72 Feb 27, 2020 @ 10:11pm
I can't believe I didn't see the toggle. I was in a bit of a rush due to other things when I looked at your map. It is very usable and I take back everything I said. I am sorry I didn't take more time to look it over before I spoke.
Searanger  [author] Feb 26, 2020 @ 4:30am
@mat934 The map is broken down into floors. Please right click on the model. Go to trigger effects and click the floor you wish to toggle on/off
mat934 Feb 25, 2020 @ 7:02pm
my main issue with navigation is that you have to go into 1st person to navigate, and cant view the map from a top down direction, when i GM typically like to stay top down or in 3rd person mode as it allows me to quickly glance and see where everything is and there relationship to each other, if i spawn a bunch of minis into the mansion (say 10 to 15),(a typical fight for a party of 6) it quickly becomes difficult to locate a particular individual. i found that if i didnt know exactly were a mini was in the fight it became difficult to locate the mini, with me spending around a minuet to locate the mini......
mat934 Feb 25, 2020 @ 7:02pm
...... this interprets the session and while not major having to do it for every mini quickly added up, meaning i was spending more time looking for minis than playing. basically you need to make it easyer to view the mansion form a glance. i have seen this done by braking buildings into floors, and have one section per floor, so the map is seperated out and you can view every floor at once rather than one room at a time
Searanger  [author] Feb 25, 2020 @ 4:23am
@Chief Tokasmoke - I purposely don't add grid lines incase non DnD players use the map. I use this tool personally for my 3D maps. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1800855461

@Gondor72 I was hoping the floor toggles would be enough. I really wanted to do a full building both interior and exterior but it looks like people are having a hard time with the floor toggling. I'll have
Keep this in mind for future work. Thanks.
Rico Feb 25, 2020 @ 2:27am
if its for DnD, throw a grid on the ground for the models
Gondor72 Feb 24, 2020 @ 10:16pm
I too found this map difficult to use. Please take this criticism lightly as I have used your former material and really am impressed with them. I have made some multilevel structures and usually separate them by floor level so you can more easily move the models and get an overview of the room layouts. I often lock them together and pull out the floor maps like you would a dresser drawer. The overall look and feel of the map is great though.
Searanger  [author] Feb 24, 2020 @ 2:42pm
@mat934 What in particular did you find difficult to navigate. Just for reference on my future maps.
mat934 Feb 24, 2020 @ 12:24pm
its as good looking map but difficult to navigate, i would suggest breaking the model into floors.
