@Linky you probably didn’t use GCFScape to extract the audio files from the VPK into the L4D2 directory and then done the console command :^)

@luczhang1109 it does work. The game is suppose to freeze for a while. Once the loading bar gets to a certain percentage, it is done. It would show on the console prompt in the game. After that, all you do is is force exit the game and restart it.

This doesn't work at all, even if I type snd_rebuildaudiocache into the console, the game just freezes.

Nope, you need to do some kind of file editing wizardry to get this to work... and by that I mean you need to download GCFscape I believe it was called, and manually place the sound folders into the correct survivor's sound folders, it's not complicated, it's just annoying and quite tedious, especially if you're someone like me who likes to constantly change their mod setup from time to time and perhaps uses mods like these that requires manual modding.

Is this as simple as just subscribing to the mod, enabling it and doing whatever in the console commands?
