Yea, i heard of this. The stories say she had long black hair, looked ghostly & killed people, using cold weather or drained the life from them. I think i saw this in an anime. Inuyasha, maybe. She would be considered a Daedra in Tamriel.

Can you please alter the mod to allow changing of hair colour to colours other than brown? It seems to be highly requested and I agree with them. If possible please alter the mod to allow hair changes.

Also, @Mustang , I agree with hair colour being white, as, although Japanese people almost without question have brown hair, many of the tales about Yuki-Onna said that their hair was white as snow, or even colourless.

The abilities still work with males, the only difference is that the males are unchanged from nord appearances. This is due to there being only female Yuki-onna in historical legends.

That's pretty funny, I always name any Japanese-style swords Yuki-onna Katana/Wakisashi/whatever when I put frost enchantments on them (which is roughly always).

[GR] Saionji Sekai that is weird as i fixed the brawls by adding the player to the brawl quest faction, then setting the cloak to not damage same faction members as player.

@blackcat: Well what happened was when I was in the first few quests of the game, the frost cloak didn't do damage during brawls. But once I was around the first riften main quest a slaughterfish attacked and since then the cloak damaged during brawls. [Which is why I needed the spell id.]
@Iron Phoenix: The frost cloak only activates when an enemy partially or completely detects you, so the enemy probably knew you were there anyway. Though it would be nice if there was a way to toggle it naturally. [Like the night eye toggle mod.]

Frost Cloak makes this race very difficult to use as a stealth character (sneak up on a mark and suddenly the cloak activates and the mark is now aware of you... and mad), and difficult as a ranged archer (the frost effect obstructs your view when aiming the bow). I would prefer a method of disabling the frost cloak for those situations.

The id for frost cloak is XX000D66. Just tested and can be added and removed in game. What happened with the brawls, as I haven’t had any errors?

Well, it was brawl safe for the first 25% of the game. The frost cloak is technically a spell right? If so does that mean it is possible to 'toggle' it with player.addspell/removespell?

The id is XX000D63, where XX is the mods place in the load order. However all custom races work horribly with Dawnguard, and hopefully there will be a permanent fix soon.

I just noticed a nice feature that you may or may not have intended. because of the battle-only cloak, the player now has a sort of 'sense' when an enemy is about to attack since the ice aura flares up, which really adds a nice effect to the ice being concept. Pretty much the only problem i've found with the mod is that the health is a bit overpowered at the first level. [120 would've been a better buff than 170, but that can be fixed with player.setav] But other than that, great mod.

firewolfproductions.psc, thanks for reminding me about the brawls. current version there is nothing that can be cone, but i will lokk at fixing this. Modesto Perera there are plenty of body mods that can do that.

Nice mod, have not encountered any problems except one.
Due to the "Ice cloak during battle" thing, it has become impossible to brawl due to the fact that the cloak activates directly and turns it into full-out combat, is there anything to do about this right now or will this be adressed during later versions?

Yeah, I understand most of my ideas, (i.e. Storm Spawning, Half-Breeds, ect.), would be near impossible, but, there are clever little tricks and ways that something similar could be accomplished, I'd wager. A question, is the fire version a separate mod? (Probably have that answered before you respond though...)

sleepingawake97 fire version is uploaded. I don't think i could do the clan war now, but it is something that i may try later. the storm woman spawn in storm isn't possible as far as i have tried as weather doesn't have the ability to spawn. the half races would either require a lot of coding or the addition of 44 new races, plus would require some modeling as well so i cant do that, however it is a interesting idea. marly have you tried going against a fire spell? if you are not prepaired fire can easily kill you as you have a 75% weakness.

Blackcat, great that you are considering th ideas, it could also be intresting to have a sort of clan war type thing in secret between the snow, fire, and shock women, what could also be intresting, is if you had a scall, say 1-100, chance to encounter a random storm woman in a thunderstorm, just thoughts... Also, on an unrelated note, to anyone reading this, a cool mod to make is the ability to make half-breed player characters in the character generation screen, I would make it, but, I have very little skill in modding and have almost no knowledge of programming, but it would be very intresting, as both a role-playing aspect as well as a way to combine some of your favorite racial traits, at the expense of the power or number of powers. Once again, just a thought, if anyone likes the idea, go ahead and go running with it, you don't even need to mention me later, just send me the link.

i have read the descreiption of this mod but i find this mod almost like cheating the resistinces are wayy to hight imo seriously you can just walk into majority of spells there is no tension when fighting a mage or a dragon imo if you lowerd the resitinces it would be better but a respect your idea

latest change: frost particle only on in battle. Insizer, thanks for the ideas, will try to implement but low chance of feathers as probably need to be worked on in 3d models, but i will try. probably go for paralysis. sleepingawake97 have started work on ideas, actually found sort of related myths (Valkyrie for Shock (sort of streching the link) and kitsune for fire(extremely streching))
however there does'nt seem to be any difference from standard nord for both in looks.

A siren, in mythology, would lure saliors to their death via very enchanting and hypnotizing music and song. A skyrim equivalent would be something like a shout, except it would be a power, that would either paralyze enemies or put them into a trance that would be hard to get out of. Sirens are depicted as avian humanoids (but not like a tengu) to varying degrees. Some character design ideas could include feathers around the wrists or ankles, small feathers directed forward on the hands, feathers on their arms, etc. Overall, their power, in the myths, is derived from both their beauty and their song.
On a side note: thank you, the particle effect, though awesome, makes the first person view a bit weird, especially when looking down. If it could be toned down or turned off when not in battle it would be helpful.

I have one request, could you make the passive frost cloak a power so that the frost particles don't interfere with first person view when you're not fighting? Also, just an idea, you could make a Siren next, just don't make them have beaks or bird legs. Other then that, this mod is great, thumbs up

Hey, I know this may be a bit out there because there is no myth to back it up, but wouldn't it be cool to have fire women too? like In a separate mod, have like a heat (not flame) Cloak and stuff like that. Also, you could make a storm woman, with a static cloak, just a thought, I would like it alot if you decided to use my idea. Love the mod btw.

frost cloak is now working properly. and Imperator i wasn't played might and magic heroes VI but looking around on wikipedia, however i will now have a look at that game (and probably end up playing it).
