Today was a Maintenance Update and my save game crashed. Just run a few mods and figured out this one seemed to be the problem. I removed and reinstalled and its working fine again since. Not sure if just my files but thought I would give a heads up if anyone else has an issue the mod is good just do a unsub/resub.

offset moved the item along the track, this is useful to line it up with other track attached items like the signals.

Can someone explain how the Offset setting is supposed to work? I assumed it would shift the bridge closer or further from the track, but it doesn't seem to change that. What is the Offset setting changing? Any chance we can get a way to shift the bridge perpendicular to the track (right now the post sort of collides with adjacent track if they're run parallel)? Thanks for the great mod!

I pray for sequel mod as detailed as this but for modern Safetran (stacked and trilight) signals.

For the modern signal bridges, I'd imagine a 2 track signal cantilever would only have masts on one side of the right of way while 3 or more tracks would use a bridge and allow up to 6 tracks.

And unlike these searchlights, the Safetran stack (and Trilights) would have a simple corner conduit arm. This would allow for flexibility on ground signals with a separate mast asset so the conduit lines up with the mast when placing it on curved tracks. It would also allow one to make proper intermediate signals on 1 mast (maintenance latter facing away from the tracks) in general. Obviously there would be an offset slider to help match the signal placements.

This is just a proposal

This mod is awesome! @NS_37: If possible, can you add a low-mast variant for the single-headed signal (perhaps the height of the lower head on the 2 head ground signal)? Also, a short 2 head absolute bridge signal?

Also, would it be possible to add variations of each signal that show different aspects in place of "clear"?

they can not be placed that close then they will hit the trains on the main track.

For completion’s sake can we get a set of red waypoint signals to place on the opposite side of the signal bridge?

I noticed a signal bridge in the screen shot of the signal's but didn't see one in the pack is there a place that you can get that signal bridge.

There is no reason to place them in between tracks (you should use a signal bridge or gantry instead) and moving them to that center would cause their geometry to interfere with the trains.

I love these, but they are a bit too far to the right. It looks a little odd when placed on a single track/right-most track but will actually clip with trains when placed between parallel tracks. Not game breaking but hopefully a simple enough fix to be implemented soon!

I have also considered tunnel signals due to needing some on my own map. will look into that.

I have a little suggestion. What about signals for tunnels? Maybe they could be mounted on the roof or near the roof on the walls. The bridge signals are too tall to fit in tunnels. As of right now I'm using dwarfs in tunnels because they are the only type of your signals that fit in them.

Make sure all permissive signals show the yellow, I think the dwarfs aren't the only ones. I spawned a random permissive by error and it had a red aspect too.

I also found another problem with the dwarfs, the LOD 1 is slightly misplaced. I fixed this (and the color aspect for the permissive dwarfs I mentioned earlier) by messing a bit with the MDL files.

The permissive dwarfs are showing a red aspect by default, although on the GUI they show a yellow aspect.

Howdy. I'm loving these signals; could you make a left-hand version of the on-ground signals, as well as an on-ground three-head signal? I've found that Canadian Pacific (and probably other railroads, for that matter) use left hand signalling in certain double track segments.

@NS_37 ... I mean place your signals also under the waypoint option so that they can placed on both side of the signal bridge without messing up actual train traffic flow. Just like other signals that are in the waypoint menu (i know that signals can be waypoints) it's more of a cosmetic thing, but you could also do other indications like yellow for waypoints and such

The update is awesome! Any chance you can turn your signals into waypoints as well so we can put the bridge signals on both side of the signal bridge? (your PRR signals would benefit with this too)
