@Osmodius - Apparently a lot of mods have been broken by a workshop update. If you want to fix it, just re-upload the same mod files under a new version. The workshop busted.

It done broke.

the problem is that the the descriptiuon of your mod says 0 mb size if you change it it chould work but i dont know how and how it was changed :D

Must've been to either Skyrim or the workshop itself for random mods to be 0.000mb.
Nexus mods work at least. SKSE is broken altogether too.

what are the differences between this and v1?

@Osmodius, On Xbox One, there aren't many limits minus blatant copyright and NSFW stuff. External resources are available. Even if it's not exactly the same as this, Skyrim does desperately need improved ice textures. You could probably do something with it, but obviously time and whatnot is a factor. If you do look into it, im sure a lot of console players would be glad to see it.

dude, take me through the mod installation process. PLEASE. all the video tutorials suck ass, this nexus mod manager is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. my mods wont pop up in the data files on the game.

I just subcribed to this but its not showing up my my game of my data files even though I did download the 16mb file.

Updated the textures with a less saturated look and optimized the normal map to reduce file size by 25% without losing quality.

I think it would funny if your character could slip and slide on this ice if you go too fast

Yeah the original was more realistic in color in general however this mod add's much better looking texture to them.

Regarding how realistic it is: I've seen glaciers up close and have been walking down on one, so I'm talking from first hand experience:

While the clear blue glaciers this mod adds do exist, others are just as white, smudgy and opaque as the originals in the game. Actually, some look like pressed snow rather than ice. So both the original textures and the ones in this mod are realistic in their own way.

In the Indian Himalayas (Ladakh, Kashmir, Zanskar, etc.) where I've been I've only seen the smudgy, dirty white ones that look like the original textures rather than the mod's textures.

so very blue! instead of ice it sort of looks like a gemstone...

Visually these are gorgeous on their own - but when paired with white snow they look too blue and glittery....

Not sure if the texturing is entirely life accurate, but I dont care! Everythings fantastic and really improves the winter environment!

Just to Clearify for Osmodius, if you ever see a real glacier they are very blue just like in the mod. btw do I get both glacier v2 and remastered together???

awesome texture but the texture would be better if it didnt go so far up the mountain and stayed on the ice fields. possibly too blue. nice job though
