No problem. Glad you solved it ^^

My fault, I resolved this issue creating a new empire from scratch, the old was getting wrong colors because a palette mod I had installed before, Thanks!
Col. Hathi  [author] Jan 9 @ 8:09am
The border colors also tend to look a lot brighter than the color that you chose for the flag, so the pink color could even stem from a red color or something similar in your flag, and this btw includes even if you made the flag only show one of the colors that you picked.
Col. Hathi  [author] Jan 9 @ 7:55am
@Ignore me, Well the mod does swap the border colors that stem from your flag, so if you have any pink in your blue flag, that could be why. If not, then I can take a look and see if the latest dlc changed anything that would affect this mod, but I would be surprised if it did.

For the record I haven't played the latest dlc yet, so I'm not saying you're wrong ^^

Im getting pink color on the galaxy map (borders) when I play whith an empire with a blue flag. I guess this is not intended. Awesome mod btw.

Akashugo Jun 22, 2023 @ 9:48pm

Col. Hathi  [author] May 29, 2022 @ 3:31pm
That's fair ^^ np
Arvi May 29, 2022 @ 10:04am
Sorry, I see that now. I am not always very smart. especially not late at night.
Col. Hathi  [author] May 29, 2022 @ 9:05am
@Arvi The "'Dark Galaxy' must be used alongside this mod" quote is part of the original description for Supreme Borders by Big Kisses. You don't need Dark Galaxy, nor could you even if you wanted to, since it's been taken down. I've incorporated Dark Galaxy into the mod, and I believe I say as much in the description.
Arvi May 29, 2022 @ 1:59am
I am confused. first you say "You do not need the original Supreme Borders or Dark Galaxy to run this version." then you say "'Dark Galaxy' must be used alongside this mod"

So should I or should i not use Dark galaxy ?
LukyLucaz May 26, 2022 @ 4:08pm
Yeah. In hindsight I’m pretty onay with the current look I have. It only gets a little annoying spotting federations. I feel like without the blie galaxy mod it’s a bit too bright for me taste :)
Col. Hathi  [author] May 26, 2022 @ 3:44pm
Pretty though
Col. Hathi  [author] May 26, 2022 @ 3:44pm
I can see how Blue Galaxy Map would cause some issues, heh.
LukyLucaz May 26, 2022 @ 1:26pm
My bad, I was using the following mods which produced the dark effect. When I turn them off it looks exactly like in the page's screenshots!
- Blue Galaxy Map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2779148236
- Beautiful Universe v2.0: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=697938908
Col. Hathi  [author] May 22, 2022 @ 12:21pm
@LukyLucaz Hmm, I just tried booting up a save game to compare, and to me the borders look just as bright as in the screenshots. Lemme see if I can show you an example of what I'm looking at: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811437274
LukyLucaz May 22, 2022 @ 12:09pm
Even though you supposedly don't need Dark Galaxy anymore, I still find borders to be very dark and hard to see. Any chance you could make it look more like the screenshots on this mod page? They're at least twice as dull as that in my game.
Col. Hathi  [author] Nov 23, 2021 @ 4:45am
@Wilmfe23 That might be interesting, but I think it's something only Paradox themselves can do. At most I think I might be able to change the overall color of sectors, but I'm not certain. If I were able to change the overall color, it'd probably be the same color you'd see for every sector in every game, no matter what your empire colors are.
Wilmfe23 Oct 21, 2021 @ 9:49pm
One feature I would really like is to be able to give each sector a slightly different color. Nothing major but that each sector has a slightly different hue, brightness, saturation or is slightly mixed with another color. I'm unfortunately not a programmer but that should be possible right?
That it applies a random slight variation of your empire's color code.

It's more something though I wish Paradox themselves would do. That it assigns a random unique color to each district but that you can change it to be the same if you want. Or maybe even toggle it off.

Updated. Let me know if something doesn't seem right.
Col. Hathi  [author] Apr 15, 2021 @ 8:15pm
What, it's not working?
MagicTrashPanda Apr 15, 2021 @ 3:02pm
Update please
Col. Hathi  [author] Mar 2, 2021 @ 1:22pm
@BloodMisery I'm assuming it is too. I'm sorry, you'll have to test that yourself :p
BloodMisery Mar 2, 2021 @ 12:49pm
Im assuming this is ironman friendly?
Roman Arch Oct 20, 2020 @ 2:45pm
Well stuff like music mods or UI mods seem to be mostly clientside only. I was curious if this was the same deal.
Col. Hathi  [author] Oct 20, 2020 @ 12:03pm
You and me both ^^ Uhm, I couldn't tell ya. I was under the impression that everyone that you want to play with, has to have the same set of mods active, regardless of the mod used.
Roman Arch Oct 19, 2020 @ 11:53pm
Is this a clientside-only mod or do my friends have to have it downloaded as well to use? Cause I wanna use this mod all the time now
Col. Hathi  [author] Mar 30, 2020 @ 4:27am
Ofc I have to remember how to actually do this, because I don't normally do modding. It's not my forte ^^
Col. Hathi  [author] Mar 30, 2020 @ 4:24am
To my knowledge, the mod should work perfectly fine and doesn't need an update, but I did notice that Dark Galaxy has been taken down, and I've been thinking about incorporating a copy of Dark Galaxy into this mod. At least for the time being, unless the original author wants me to take it out.
