Although I haven't played this game in a while, the mod should still be working with any other mod. Balance might and can be off though.

I had not used it for 10 months and there, I have just reactivated it and I have the first 8 more unit types. And I have fought with these units without problems.

Unit size mods only modify the vanilla units, any new units from any new unit mods will not be changed. You have to manually change the units. A quick youtube tutorial will tell you how to do so, quite easy.

独立版本包括43个新单位,增加了额外的纹理和盔甲,其中20个是通用的,可以被所有派别招募。
*请注意,如果你有不同的模式,游戏单位属性会有很大的变化,这个模式中的单位可能会显得太弱或太强大。但是弓箭手和2h单位的单位卡仍然是一个难题,因为组装套件不能正确或根本不能播放动画。

Great mod! Only need to increase the upkeep to allow to be balanced in vanilla to make a more standing army compared to most peasant/militia vanilla armies. I added around +65 fixed upkeep to all units in this mod and it balanced out nicely.

If you can add it unit captains as a submod for this mod of yours it will be perfect!

the mod is not usable for vanilla at all, just the difference in health in this mod and vanilla is big and the recruit+upkeep for the value is totally no there.

did you mean this mod is only for radious?

I was looking at upkeep cost from vanilla game, it is much higher than radious...

Also radious mod has its own weapons/armor statistics that would make a huge difference in battlefield.

the problem with that is not everyone has the same mods, some with radious may find this unbalanced some with vanilla may find it OP some with other mods will find it different as well.

Perhaps I can make separate versions for each mod, but that'd take a bit.

tried this with radious and I dont believe it is balanced with Radious. The unit size for infantry is 243 while Radious is 300. Cav is 80+ while radious is only 73. Secondly. I feel the upkeep cost is a bit too high compared to Radious. So it would be better if you can modify the unit size in the next update as well as the upkeep cost. TBH, I personally prefer the reskin version of this mod than this one. But it is a good work. Really love the model. Keep up mate

What I mean't was can you create a mod that has custom textures for others to use in their mods. Like recoloured armour, separated armour, beards etc. Kind of like a mod tool.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by building a texture pack, and regarding to 3D models I don't have the tools nor knowledge to create something new.

Far as texturing goes,

You will need to use PFM or RPFM to extract the DDS and rigid_model_v2 from whichever armor or helmet you like.

You're going to need Photoshop and download a plugin called Intel Texture Works to let you open and save the DDS files correctly.

You will also need a program called RigidModelv2 Editor, its on the TWcenter forums under 3kingdoms mod workshop.

The editor lets you open the extracted rigid_model_v2 file and edit the texture/normals/material map paths so that you can link it to your new texture. At the same time, you can duplicate the rigidmodel_v2 and create a new name so your original game files/textures aren't changed.

Are you able to build a texture pack for use in the variant editor? I'd love to have get the Xiliang cavalry overcoats without the rest of the outfit and to also have the top part of Ma Tengs cape (the fluffy part) so I can add further variation to units.
What did you use to change the textures?

Your generals need certain rank to recruit and certain units are faction specific.

I have completely most of the Standalone version for this mod and will update soon.

Everything will be completely standalone and no other requirements will be needed.

Only thing left is for me to finish up the unit cards, which seems like a pain in the butt so far.

Anyone know any proper or faster way to create unit cards?
