did you actually make it the spas 12? please confirm. I'm looking for something like this for the autoshotgun.

The model and firing animations + sound are fantastic, but I just find the reload animation to be awkward-looking. I'll be uninstalling this for now, but I had some fun trying it out.

Honestly I agree with Kamikaze over here, the gun is great, the animations are snappy and responsive, and the sounds are on point. As for the reload, if so many people (including myself) prefer the old reload animation then I'd suggest simply using the animation from the old model. Don't get me wrong, I'm no programming nor modeling expert, but from an outside perspective it seems like the easiest option. (At least compared to other options.)

@Twilight Sparkle Not to sound like a douche but it looks like I'm humping the mag or something lol And the gun is just slightly waving back and forth pointed up as somehow each shell goes in. The other animation is a lot better which is the one I have subbed from you but still a nice work on the gun for what it is. Do you think it's possible that the anims will work similar from the other EVA-8 but with this model?

@kamikaze_82 I seen people do the same reload style with this types of mag so I pretty much down same although I dont know how is it that awkward.

You should have done the same reload anims as the other EVA-8 shotgun instead of this awkward one. I just wanted this model but without these anims.

there is a dao12 mod which is also a shotgun with magazine,its animation is good.any idea for using that one? or is the original animation cant fit that?

The animation isn't too bad if you imagine that in this survival situation you only have the one drum mag and the animation consists of you removing the mag, tucking the shotgun by the stock under your armpit, and manually loading shells into the mag just below the screen before putting the mag back in.

Not sure why'd you comment about that here, but anyways, since Mastiff was rigged for a pump-action shotgun slot - no wonder it has some glitches when you hexed it into auto -shotgun slot, because these are different shotgun types, and thus - they operate different from one another.
I don't think you can fix these kind of errors without a proper recompile (note: recompiling L4D2 viewmodels will break animations in most cases)

I know I might be boring with "Mastiff for SPAS" thing, but hexed version has a sound glitch, that I can't get rid off.

10/10 for the port, just awesome! the old titanfall Eva8 was a bit hard to notice the shells getting reloaded, but here... the gun tilts when ya reload, just awesome, thank ya for this 1!
