I'm having this issue too. I just Subscribed and the textures were missing and the models were very glossy and pink.

After a few unsubscribe/resubscribes that failed, I ultimately kept the subscription and directly deleted the gma before having Garry's Mod download it in-game instead of just relying on the Steam download. That seems to have fixed it.

I just install the models and they are simply broken like that like they didn't download properly. Not sure if it's a Steam thing or what.
