Very nice mod, but there's an error that can make for a long-drawn-out finale. The dice are supposed to have only one blank side, but three sides with one hit.
Fidel Apr 11, 2021 @ 11:44am
@slambo239 it's in a hidden zone that only the person playing as the shark can see.

Shark tracker pad not showing

Bought the game, hoping to play this also.

Thank you - the publisher made a sale from use of this mod :)

The shark's resurface tokens don't "hide" when you pull them back. Is there a way to hide them so you don't have to say "okay, nobody look!"? Thanks, this is the first workshop game I've played on TTS.

Great game and great job importing it into this game. I played it the other night with a few people who weren't even too eager to try it, and everyone got into it very quickly and had a lot of fun. Thanks!

Played this for the first time with some friends today. Usually games based on movies are rather "meh", but this was really enjoyable.

They guy who had played it before (and was teaching us) was the shark.
He didn't hold back, but clarified when we had questions about the rules.
Managed to track him quite well (some spot on deduction and some luck when deduction gave multiple options).
Ended up with 8 extra "tools" in phase two, which according to the shark player was very rare, and he didn't expect to live.

This is when we really understood he wasn't holding back :P
We did make it with 3 damaged tiles left on the boat, and only melee weapons left.
Myself being 2 wounds away from dying, one undamaged player and one half dead player.

All in all it was great fun. I'll add it to my wishlist for physical games (games are great to wish for xmas, instead of "Oh IDK. Candy?" ;P)

Thanks. I was using the "+/-" at the lateral keys. The ones near backspace work fine. It´s also useful to set a higher scale for the shark notebook, to make easy writing.
Anyway thank you. Great mod, great feedback.

@mccoy357
You have to use -/+ located near backspace

Yes the pentool is a bit big even at its smallest size. If it's hard to use I suggest just using the text tool which is accessible using the left hand tool palette and clicking the "T" icon or F7. :tableflip:

Love this game, am subscribing.

trying the mod, i find huge size of pencil for the shark annotations, HUGE, and not adjustable via +/- keys

What is my error?

Thanks

Thank you so much, will try.
Oceansize Apr 4, 2020 @ 12:33pm
@mballyns: rt-click on the game board, then expand the 'Toggles' submenu and un-select "Lock", then Flip. After you've flipped the board, I recommend re-locking the game board
mballyns Apr 4, 2020 @ 9:57am
I was playing this last night but could not get the main board to flip over for act 2 to place the Orca on as in the 3rd picture above. What am I doing wrong?
Oceansize Apr 2, 2020 @ 6:31pm
Wow, super-fast fix! Thank you!
Dimikosta  [author] Apr 2, 2020 @ 1:20pm
@Oceansize

Ahh thanks for pointing that out, looks like I set the hidden zone to the wrong color! That's been fixed! The shark tracker is hidden information available only to the shark player. So in TTS there is a hidden zone drawn over it, the only player who can see it is the red player. The Black color in TTS represents a Game Master role who can see all hidden information, including hands.
Oceansize Apr 2, 2020 @ 12:48pm
It appears that the person playing the shark should be choosing the red side of the table. But as soon as any color other than black is chosen, the shark tracker is hidden. Is this working as designed and I'm missing something? Does the shark player play as black or red? If red, then how do they see their own shark tracker?

This is amazing thank you so much! We love the board game IRL and now we can share with online friends.

@Box or whatevs

Whoops another error on my part! There are 2 copies of each shark ability card, I just forgot to copy the deck. Just pushed an update fixing that, Thanks for letting me know! :tableflip:
Space Kyprite Nov 6, 2019 @ 11:35pm
Oh, forgot to mention though, it seems there's only 8 out of 10 of the shark ability cards in the mod? Unless I lost track of two of them.
Space Kyprite Nov 6, 2019 @ 11:31pm
OMG I've been waiting for someone to make a mod for this for months! Thanks so much!
bhfred Oct 31, 2019 @ 7:48am
@ Dimikosta Thanks, will be playing this weekend, thanks for the Module.

@Palatial Regalia

Thanks for the heads up I just added the shark meeple in!

And regarding using the Shark tracker, writing with the pen tool remains hidden from the other players. I've added a note card with instructions how to use it.

Also glad you guys found some solo rules :)
Palatial Regalia Oct 30, 2019 @ 8:14pm
Missing the Shark Meeple.
If possible would need a Stick Pack with numbers and locations for the shark tracker pad.
I cant seem to find a way to hide the text from other players.
Stickers seem to work being hidden.
Arcturus Asriv Oct 30, 2019 @ 9:10am
@Zee Germans and bhfredjenni,
There appears to be no solo rules at the moment.
You can go here: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/272738/jaws/forums/69 and help the community make solo rules for it.
bhfred Oct 29, 2019 @ 11:54am
Ditto...Solo would be nice!!!
ZeeGermans Oct 28, 2019 @ 9:15pm
can you add the solo rules please?
