In TF2 you don't really recognize a merc in TF2 by their feet, but their entire model.

The team color on this cosmetic is also very minimal by default, so its not like it would help you any easier to know which team the Scout is on, weather its painted or not.

Gmod is an ''Addon'' workshop. Unlike TF2 Workshop, addons don't get accepted into the game, due to them having the ''Subscribe'' button, which non-addon workshops lacks of.
