Hello developer! At one time, I played this mode for hours with my friends, but at one point the server stopped working. I'm very interested, why don't you continue to support the addon? It was an excellent mode that I really liked. If you don't continue your work, at least answer my question. Thanks.

developments been slow but im trying to get working on it again. if u want to pull a new map off dev branch see https://github.com/lorpus/evil/blob/dev/gamemode/maps/slender_underground_r1_evpack.lua and the download is https://nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/pogger-space/fastdl/gmodds1/evil/maps/slender_underground_r1_evpack.bsp.bz2 but it hasnt been tested much

im guessing you have the gamemode installed via workshop which is why u dont see gamemodes/evil/gamemode/maps and thats a bit of an oversight on my end which ill try and change for next update. for now remove it from ur collection and download the source from https://github.com/lorpus/evil/releases/tag/0.3.2 and toss it in gamemodes/ then you can edit it as the wiki says

any more maps yet? also, the wiki page on adding a map says to create a lua file in the gamemode's maps folder. where is that? I can't seem to find it in local files

ive never used gmod itself to start a game but it should be in the bottom right when u click sandbox or whatever in the bottom right. but if u use srcds (the proper way) then u do +gamemode evil in the cmd line

i did try and get a form of AI working from the start but it was so complicated i decided it wasnt worth the time, nor is it rly worth it at this point

im wondering if you could possibly program AI to be bots in evil games?
