GeneralMutter Nov 3, 2015 @ 12:49pm
do I need to have the hearthfire DLC? And does this mod alter how the charge system work for staffs?
Dr. Tölpel May 27, 2015 @ 2:26pm
Ok...weird, is it just me or increases this mod the power of the Bound Bow? After i downloaded i looked on my weapons-stat and it was very high (TOO high to be normal), i deactivated this mod and it was normal again. Its allways good to have more power, but not like this ;)
Hjernen Apr 11, 2015 @ 11:28am
how to get them?
GeeMan Mar 14, 2015 @ 3:27pm
Cool mod, though I personally think the best implementation of staffs in skyrim would be if rather than casting a single spell bound to the staff, they would instead cast the user's spells, only buffed. Their would be different grades of staffs like how their are swords and bows (e.g. iron, dwarven, elvish, daedric etc...) and each would buff the spell higher depending on the grade.
Melletch Mar 13, 2015 @ 4:21pm
yeah, not subscribing when they alter the start like that
Cpt.COOTS Mar 13, 2015 @ 12:52pm
So loaded this on a brand new Breton I made and suddenly he forgot flames and healing.

Great idea I have to try this, now for those of you who keep asking this poor guy there is a mod on Nexus that let's you use your staff as a fighting two handed weapon, when placed in your left hand it works as a normal magical staff and when place in the right it makes it a melee weapon, works great its called "Fighting Mage Staff."
Reizung Mar 5, 2015 @ 1:12pm
i would like a nexus downlaod. since i dont own this game on steam. Dont know if there is a way to get this mod without it. or atleast some kind of download link for the files themselves. nexus got no mod to make all staffs give xp towards corresponding skill tree..
borkiee Mar 1, 2015 @ 10:04am
This is EXACTLY what i was lookin for, so long magical hand crap [well, exept for healing] now i will be playing mage SOOOO much more, and i cant belive that this has no rates, this is a awsome mod, it deserves more atention, great work man!
Z0011 Sep 6, 2014 @ 12:02pm
Nice mod, but can you ony mane a mod that shows the staff on the back just like oblivion? :falkwreath:
Ursinius047 Aug 9, 2014 @ 3:44pm
Does this mod conflict wtih better magic by sushisquid?
boatman Feb 22, 2014 @ 4:46pm
@KillAllTheOrcs Staves are a melee weapon, while staffs are magical.
✪ NotRyan Feb 4, 2014 @ 4:46pm
this a great mod and can you make it compattible without dlc
Corridian Jan 6, 2014 @ 6:39am
I like the concept and totally agree with you. So far the staff mod is working great. It finally lets mages have some scalable weapons that are mage weapons... love it, Keep it up...
BaraTiddies Jan 2, 2014 @ 3:51pm
It should be Staves not "staffs"
CyberWolf Dec 16, 2013 @ 8:11am
Do staffs show when walking or only in the weapon ready view?
discogodofthe2ndage  [author] Dec 12, 2013 @ 11:42pm
@Ze Dr. Medic
Warning added. I quoted and credited you, and I'll make a version that doesn't require DLC soon. Including the DLC was actually a convienence on my part. I apologize for that. I should be able to rescript this for a vanilla version within a week, hopefully.

@jemanuelviera
I thought I had fixed that. It won't work for followers, but it should work for the player. I need more information about the problems you've been having.

@Aunumashe
Which staff is giving you trouble? I need more information about the problems you've been encountering.

@FlapsOf TheAges
I tried this. Sadly, not possible under the game's current logic. It won't check for enchantment charge before attempting the action.

@Sir Mike
Nexus link? Soon.
More staff enchanters? Soon.
ZeDr'Bunclé Dec 12, 2013 @ 4:32pm
It would be nice if you put up a little (big) warning at the end of the description going:
"Hey..yo..hey..you need EVERY DLC for Skyrim in order for this mod to work, jus-ju..just saying man, you need all the DLCs..otherwise it'll crash your game without warning, leaving you to fumble around for HOURS trying to figure out what the ♥♥♥♥ went wrong."

Now I actually knew what was wrong, so I ran the manager to find which mod was the culprit, and it was this mod.

Saying it again, please..add..a warning.
Not everybody have the DLCs.
Fat Traveler Dec 11, 2013 @ 8:43am
This does not level the skills. Good otherwise
The Saint Of Sanity Nov 11, 2013 @ 6:46pm
The mods great but can't summon two creatures anymore. hope you fix it'
Sentinal Nov 5, 2013 @ 10:10am
can you try to make the staffs usable to hit enemies. because when the stafs lose there enchantment and you dont have soulgems.....theyr useless!!! It whould be cool if you can try it out
Signspace Nov 3, 2013 @ 11:59pm
nexus mod link if it exists if not can it??
Signspace Nov 3, 2013 @ 11:58pm
this mod looks great and is something I have wanted for a while because it allows for a mage build with low magicka but high enchanting, a suggestion is that if you no a certain spell then you can use it to craft an unenchanted staff and enchant it using the spell.
discogodofthe2ndage  [author] Nov 2, 2013 @ 5:09pm
@utype97 Yes. The new staffs require information from Dawnguard and Dragonborn. I apologize for the inconvenience. I'll make a vanilla version once I've finished implementing the features and fixes people would like to see.

@dumoc99 I need a little more informartion: which staff (if any) you were holding, and which summon you were attempting.

@Bearacudda98 Unlimited duration only applies while the Alteration staff is equipped--the effect is removed when the staff is unequipped. The All Staffs box is on the second floor of the Riverwood Trader. I'm still working on blocking with staffs (and making them visible while sheathed).
Bearacudda98 Nov 1, 2013 @ 4:34pm
Last post was kind of long anyway could you also make combats staves like in morrowind? if so can you make them able to block
Bearacudda98 Nov 1, 2013 @ 4:32pm
" Alteration staffs benefit from alteration perks.
Alteration staffs now reduce the cost of all spells by 10%, and gives spells you cast on yourself unlimited duration. " Is this when the staff is equipped or.... Also where is the All Staffs Box?
dumoc99 Oct 31, 2013 @ 3:04pm
I have 100 conjuration and can summon twice, but when I loaded this mod, I could only summon one helper. I unloaded this mod, logged back in and could summon two beings again. You should fix that.
Huggii Oct 29, 2013 @ 8:48am
I can't get the mod work. Do you need dawnguard?
SugarSupreme Oct 28, 2013 @ 3:35pm
Any particular reason why you stole most of those staves ingame?
discogodofthe2ndage  [author] Oct 28, 2013 @ 2:00pm
Those are good ideas for future improvements.
Bigwhitehound Oct 28, 2013 @ 11:07am
What Haluwien said, plus can you block with them.
Ståle Oct 28, 2013 @ 6:51am
Are they still invisible when not in combat?
