My favorite highway ever ! You guys can add the yellow lines using Intersection Marking Tool. It looks great.
clus  [author] Dec 3, 2020 @ 11:38pm
Hey. I'll look into that and come back to you.
Certified Paint Huffer Dec 3, 2020 @ 9:14am
Hey @clus , there is a small issue with the most recent update. It looks like the texture around the nodes doesnt align well with the mesh. It can only really be seen on a lighter background.

Here is an example:

https://i.imgur.com/Z8vev8x.jpg

Since the texture is shared for all roads in the pack, it is seen for all ground nodes.

Thanks... :) Indeed ... that type is still missing ... but it'll come. ;) Already created and in use... of course only in my city atm. ;)
rosseron Aug 16, 2020 @ 8:45pm
This is a great highway collection. One thing missing though is an asymmetrical 1+2 which is pretty necessary for exit/entrances. I appreciate what you've done nonetheless.

NP ;)

oh. sorry:steamsad:
clus  [author] Jun 1, 2020 @ 10:36am
There is nothing to fix... as the description of the lights says: they're just placeholder for NS 2" ... and that works as intended. Just checked it a second time a few minutes ago ...
aerodynamically unstable May 28, 2020 @ 4:05am
So can the 'street lights are upside down' problem be solved just by redoing the roads?
clus  [author] May 27, 2020 @ 11:56pm
So ... sad news. It seems that due to the last game update that some roads are "dead". You can't update them without destroying everything in your saves ... I've spent hours (!) to find a solution, but wasn t successful. ;/ I might update some of the existing roads and release new versions for others. We'll see ... Sry. Its sometime so frustrating to deal with networks ... :/
clus  [author] May 26, 2020 @ 4:21am
Sry for the late reply. I haven't had subscribed the comments.... just FYI ... I am currently updating these highways completely. There are chances for a 6 lane version .... ;) The 3 lane national road will also come .... I hope you re still interested. ;)
Clupshtool May 16, 2020 @ 12:33pm
danke für den Grund, mal wieder den magischen Moment eines neuen Savegames zu erleben :D
aerodynamically unstable May 5, 2020 @ 11:14am
Why are the street lights in this pack on the ground and up side down lol. They are not lighting up the roads.
DadoWolf Apr 14, 2020 @ 3:55pm
Thank you very much!
ThePrince757Va Apr 8, 2020 @ 4:08pm
Clus, will you consider expanding collection this with 6L variation in the future?
CHICKEN JOCKEY Apr 4, 2020 @ 2:50am
No way to change lanterns on 4l 2way higway
RobBobBobert Apr 2, 2020 @ 12:10pm
American pack with yellow lines and wide shoulders??? Love these highways. Textures are fantastic.
wjddnjs5065 Mar 30, 2020 @ 6:35am
thank you
javier.miseton Mar 26, 2020 @ 7:57pm
Does it work with latest DLC?
NOiZE Mar 23, 2020 @ 2:07pm
Clus, could you make a decal of the concrtete texture? Which we could use on surfaces (and surface networks)
♔SUPERVISOR the Original Mar 16, 2020 @ 2:46am
Please do a six lane version

Very nice job, I have these all over my cities
NOiZE Mar 15, 2020 @ 2:14am
Any Chance we might see a version with yellow lines? For our US cities
An Feb 27, 2020 @ 12:11am
I want 6-lane highway

Because the five-lane road can't meet my needs

Thank you for your contribution to the workshop:steamhappy:
clus  [author] Feb 22, 2020 @ 9:52pm
Hello together ! Just FYI ... The 3 Lane National Road is finished and will be uploaded after I finished the "pictures- session". ;)
OumKaZa Jan 11, 2020 @ 1:31am
I want "3L - National Road". Because need to create elevated road on median highway or avenue.
bigben59 Jan 6, 2020 @ 7:25pm
Thx clus.
clus  [author] Jan 6, 2020 @ 1:56am
@Avder Sry for the late reply. A raisable version of the barriers will come. I only haven't had the time and motivation to do it so far . :/
@bigben59 I didn't do that on purpose...but i'll add a notification in the description.
bigben59 Jan 5, 2020 @ 9:18pm
Nice collection. Can you add the 'Light - Placeholder - Concrete Highways' dependency to each of the Concrete Highway's? Thanks.
Avder Nov 23, 2019 @ 7:01am
Hm, I see. In that case, would it be possible to add a version of the standalone barriers that allow for them to be placed in mid air as opposed to just terrain following as now? That way I can place them and use move it to adjust their height to match the node I'm filling the gap on. And/or a prop version of the various barriers? As I've approached the node limit I've needed to replace most of my decorative line networks with a ton of "Bike Middle" decals by using the prop/line tool and prop precision.

And I must say, for detailing these highways are so much easier to work with, simply for the fact that every single one has the same lane width, unlike the built in 2, 3, and 4 lane highways which all have different widths. I literally spent a few hours last night replacing every single vanilla highway in my current city with these.

Any chance of a decorative bridge for these somehow?
clus  [author] Nov 23, 2019 @ 4:09am
@Avder Sadly It's not possible to have the barriers etc. continuous through nodes because of specific game/"flag" limitations. Every segment has a node and theses nodes will be "flipped" at every connection which results in "flipped" barriers at the nodes as well. Sry for the complicated explanation... :P The result of that is, that the barriers will change sides at nodes. Continuous barriers at nodes are possible when they're symmetrical, in other words, when you have the same barrier type at both sides. Therefore you have to close the gaps manually ... A 6 lane version will come but there is not eta for that yet.
Avder Nov 22, 2019 @ 1:55am
Are there any plans to make the sound barrier and concrete barriers continuous through nodes? It's a little annoying having to extend them manually. also what about an asymmetric 2+1 road? And how about a 6 lane highway?
lukas.wollenweber Nov 6, 2019 @ 12:32pm
@clus that would be awesome hehe ;D
Qwestgurl24 Nov 5, 2019 @ 12:14pm
Thanks for the response! I will go ahead and try your placeholder prop. :)
clus  [author] Nov 5, 2019 @ 2:40am
@Certified paint huffer I'll think about it. But don't expect anything soon, because there is tons of stuff to do first and my time is really limited... :/
@Questgurl24 You could download the placeholder prop an then use Network Skins 2 to replaces these "lamps" with the ones you want.
@HaeShinger There is a 3 lane road in both directions. It's part of the highways over a concrete wall - set, by SimoG
@lukas.wollenweber Maybe ;)
clus  [author] Nov 5, 2019 @ 2:31am
@HatsuneKid I'll do that in time...
@whisperwalk Never seen a highway build of concrete plates instead of asphalt?
@SeaSharp Regarding intersections: that's how the works. You can't get arround that.
@Clive Palmer There will be the same custom bridge models as at the two and one way version.
@Pamani yes, thought about that. But it wouldn't be a normal decal, because I need the road (theme) texture combined with the diffuse texture to create it the way it looks at the streets. I haven't spent time so far to see, if that is even possible with Ronyx69's theme decals mod.
lukas.wollenweber Nov 3, 2019 @ 6:51am
could you release a 6l Highway?
HardTechnoAbuser Oct 29, 2019 @ 7:22am
your roads are awesome man. But one Question: Why has the Workshop no 3-lane-Road in both Directions? Sure there are the seperate ones from Vanilla. But ONE Road in BOTH Directions with 3 LANES!!! would be super-awesome-cool and fix my autism :D

Thx anyway buddy!
Qwestgurl24 Oct 27, 2019 @ 9:01pm
These roads are absolutely awesome! Love the textures on them. However, would it be possible to release them with lamp posts? Just the vanilla ones would be fine. Thanks in advance!
Certified Paint Huffer Oct 25, 2019 @ 6:12pm
@Clus
Could you make a set of highways that DO NOT have any barriers when in bridge mode or elevated? Similar to tracks in Ronyx's Railway set? It would really help in making complex elevated junctions
Pamani Oct 25, 2019 @ 2:50pm
Hey @clus ! Have you thought about some concrete big decals ? It would be great to cover the nodes.
Dreaminway Oct 20, 2019 @ 11:06pm
These really just need to be added to a pack. I get the point of having them appart like this, but if you wanan keep with the theme just having one and going back to normal game roads looks janky. its all or nothing. although granted the sudden lack of texture when any of the roads form an intersection is just...... ew.
whisperwalk Oct 20, 2019 @ 9:26am
Is there any reason for the striped lines? They make the road look segmented.
HatsuneKid Oct 19, 2019 @ 9:24pm
Awesome! I hope you could add an asphalt highway version with the same model so that it can completely replace the disgusting original highway of the game.:lunar2019piginablanket:
Gin Oct 19, 2019 @ 2:14pm
@clus thanks for the answer.
clus  [author] Oct 19, 2019 @ 10:41am
Thx again ! :)
@skallben Sry, that´s nothing I can do.
@Kami Haha... no, no hidden function. Just patience and move it ;)
Gin Oct 19, 2019 @ 1:52am
Just a question how you made the merging and off/on ramp conection of different highway line segments so smooth like shown in some pictures above, i try to come close and funneled a bit around with the Road Tools and Move It, but the result is bad. Any tips to achieve that, is it a hidden function with those Roads you made?
skallben Oct 18, 2019 @ 5:38am
There was a road converter mod for converting NEXT2 roads placed onto the map into vanilla roads to get rid of excessive roads from the modpack. Do you think it's possible to release/appropriate something similar for this asset pack?
Bobbo662 Oct 17, 2019 @ 10:03am
Awesome work, thank you for sharing
sebesams Oct 17, 2019 @ 6:49am
WOW! What a job, what a release! Thank you! I cannot wait now to start a new city and use these beauties from scratch for my highway network.
