This adds so much to my city! Manitoba's close enough to Ontario to make all my builds feel more like home.

If you ever get inspired, I'd love a connector to the vanilla transmission towers.

@GhostBirdofPrey, thanks! I'm glad you enjoy them. At the time I couldn't think of a good way to get all those wires to connect to that substation, but I have a few ideas now regarding an end piece or a new substation. My first hurdle is trying to find a way to update transmission lines in the workshop, buildings are easy, transmission lines don't seem to update the same.

No end piece for type 5 to connect to your substation?
Speaking of it's FANTASTIC that these actually connect to the substation. That's a thing I've been waiting for forever.

These are the power polls that know, this is fantastic!

@Evil.Iguana I'll give it another try. No promises though and no ETA. If all the sudden my towers in your game have the wire then success!

The Railway collection has train tracks with much thinner catenary wires but I don't know what they did to achieve that. There are a number of other HV electricity networks in the workshop with the ground wires and afaik they use the default wire shader and it looks just fine. There are a few other networks that also seem to have cracked the thin wire code, including https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1306065893 .

I wanted a city builder to have this for a long time and It's finally here.

@Blood-PawWerewolf yep, definitely.

@deeheks, you're welcome!

@Evil.Iguana, I completely agree. I wish I could add it, but from what I can tell the wireshader (which is basically a series of vertical panes lined up and displayed as a shader in game that connects objects/assets-towers) in Cities: Skylines is only limited to one size. So the earthwire/ground would look the same size as the power lines. If another modeller/modder has figured out how to make thinner wires let me know and I could give it a try. There doesn't appear to be any other methods available in Cities Skylines to connect wires from object to object besides using the wireshader.

These are really neat. My only critique is that they are missing the ground wires that should be running between the towers at the highest point for lightning protection.

How cool thanks

a ton of these lines also applies to the U.S. in style.
