The devs changed ALOT about the boats code and I fear I need to write the mod totally new from scratch. And since I spent ~100 hours for it, I don't have the time to do this.
So unfortunately it may took a few months before I fix it.
(placing several structures on top of each other does not work properly, they are placed very close next to each other most of the time instead).
Currently I have no idea how to fix this...
But as written in the disclaimer above, the mod heavily depends on how the boat-code from the devs looked when I wrote the mod. Too much changes to that code by the devs will most likely make my mod incompatible.
usually I fix my mods quite fast, at least if it is doable in a small amount of time.
The problem with this stackable boat mod is, as noted in the description above, that the devs did and are changing alot of the boat code. And every such change can break this mod.
For the recent fix I only checked this specific anchor problem. But in theory their might be more changes made by the devs, so I would not consider this mod stable.
ahhhh ok. yeah because i was messing with another couple mods since i never got to mess with them yet and as soon as i started using them, one aspect of it would cause it to do the same and i was able to get it to do the exact same thing and pin pointed the mods.. i'll re-comment on those mentioning what you said. hopefully Klei gets that fixed.
thanks for the update.

I only can overwrite this faulty game code in an update of the mod.. but I guess it is better to wait for an official fix by Klei.
yep, i literally had that in my first comment, but limited on character's lol. but yes i will definitely get to it. was planning on testing it in a bit actually.
and no i didn't see about updates breaking it to be honest and think there was a couple small updates recently.
As I wrote in descriptions, game updates could have break my mod.
If you have some time left, it would be great if you make a new test world, only enable my mod and see if it crashes again. If so, please send me the logfile and write when exactly it crashed.
If it does not crash, it might be another mod or a mod conflict and it will be alot more difficult to solve.
now to point out, i do have like 30 mods i'm using on my game lol. only have a couple boat mods.
Large Boats and Boat armor plus, which actually works perfectly fine on my end. but only grabbed it because it has the light on mast, the lightning rod and fireproof coating. the rest is left as default. installed boat tweaker til this was fixed.
My time has come to be the ultimate pirate! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
