try and leave New Units at number 1, had that fix it some times, New Sounds in 2 and the maps i think you should either leave then in order or re-order then to leave the map you´ll play in number 3

What does the game say? It could be connection limitation, depending on the connection betwen you two the map will break and you be send back to the menu (sometimes not opening?), or the game will close, unfortinetly, the game wans´t made thinking of this style of gameplay, so it takes more of it´s processing capabilitys to run the map, at least, thast´s what i undestood while working with it.
