the faction-color painting system is at least better than crafting, as it allows more color combinations without clogging up the crafting menus for every single variation.
other than that, I agree with you. We need the armor to be available from the skeleton merchants, need more than 1 start for the mandalorian characters, etc.
As soon as the mod is off, it goes back to normal. I tried putting it at the bottom, but that did nothing even after importing my save.
1: Where can I find the armor blueprints?
2: Does the skirt even exist? If so is there a blueprint or a location for it?

However, I find strange that the regular mandalorian armor blueprint can be obtained only after defeating the Death Watch bunker : I would like to play an mandalorian squad early on but this way I can get the BP only at endgame....
You could make reguler armor available with an intinering vendor (renegate) ex : "plasteel" armor BP and add a MK2 version BP in the bunker ("beskar" armor)
Is there a way to fix any of the issues? particulary the last issue with the animation having glitched?
I am finding that if i take the DX blaster off my start up character, i can equip it but it doesnt show on his back, new recruits i can give the same blaster and it doesnt appear on their back. They both still use the blaster in battle, although there are times even with "ranged" turned and distanced they will use melee only, but only if i have removed and put it back or upgraded the blaster.
Ive tried editing the gear for starts in the FCS but can only get it to start as shoddy grade aromour and blaster?
Also the game starts seem to be stuck with shoddy armour and i cant un edit them?
