In real life the CIWS is about 5m from base to top. about 1.5m long barrel.

Do you know what the dimensions look like?
I'd like to get an opinion on the scale and size of a size that can be used as an indicator of size, such as 1.5 times the current size or something like that.

From FTDv2.5.3.x, the blast range was determined for the explosive power, so it was not possible to create a wide range of blast.
FTD staff believes that preventing a missile attack is a violation. Sloppy

i downloaded this but didn't expect it to be so nice
it's amazing
Before : APS ciws meant bulky guns that still suck against missiles that come staggered
small CIWS APS = bad CIWS APS
NOW: this CIWS works well and is realistic looking while being encased in such a small package

this finally allows more realistic looking builds to encorporate WORKING CIWS

I forced the fire rate to be 39.99 with a LWC (and a AWCC) and It stopped it from failing as often. Could you let us adjust the fire rate with a slider?

This revealed the maximum rate within the FTD.

Hello, Rhea is from the dev team andbauthornof the AC mod that the simple weapon code came frkm. FTD only allows a maximum rate of fire for single barrelled gun of 2400rpm. This is because the game can only spawn an projectile once per tick, and the game ticks 40 times a second.

Next update I may be adding a CIWS gun, and AMCC will work directly with simple weapons, without needing the turret. In addition simple weapon bullets will be able to hit missiles, removing the need for the HE

That seems to be an FTD issue.
In fact, if everything bursts at this CIWS launch rate, the blast should look like a wall, but not so.
Obviously there are few explosion effects compared to the number of fires, and it seems to have disappeared by game processing.

Sometimes if there are loads of particles (multiple CWIS) then explosive damage seems to be "turned off" for CWIS. Is that a balance feature or a problem with FTD itself?

Thank you, not sure what I did wrong the first time but it works now. Great mod, it makes using ciws on a ship a lot easier.

There are several possible causes.
The most common mistakes are the following:
1) The receiver channel of the missile detector is wrong.

This can be solved by checking if the channel of each receiver and transceiver is correct.

2) AMCC is not installed on the turret. ← I often do this and fail.
Turret → AMCC on it → ciws on the same turret.
It works if you put it like this.
If the AMCC is installed without a turret, it will not function.

I can't seem to get the anti missile cannon controller to control the ciws. When I connect the local weapons controller it just attacks the ship and not the missiles. What am I doing wrong?

やっとワークショップを更新で来た。

v2.4.9.2でシンプルウェポンが増加したため、ビルドのアイコンが重なってしまった。
修正版を出そうにも、エラーが出てワークショップにアップロードできない。
v2.4.9.2でこのMODを使用する際は、MODエディタで、表示項目をずらしてもらいたい。

Since simple weapons increased in v2.4.9.2, the build icons overlapped.
Even if I try to release a revised version, I get an error and can't upload to the workshop.
When using this MOD in v2.4.9.2, I would like the display items to be shifted in the MOD editor.
