Chainmail boots are a bit daft, but otherwise, good thinking.
Caixos 26. jan. 2017 kl. 10:49
And was did the knight wearing here: https://usercontent1.hubstatic.com/1319984_f260.jpg
lupus_hegemonia 25. nov. 2016 kl. 5:42
There weren't chainmail "boots".
Snjár_ 11. maj 2016 kl. 12:06
Thank you. Amazing for my Viking Shield-Maiden build.
TheNefariousBdog 15. feb. 2016 kl. 13:40
thumbs up.
Duntrune 15. maj 2015 kl. 1:58
The heavy chain is just what i needed for my Vampire. He's an Imperial Noble so the armor suits him well. I like the way people comment on what i'm wearing in the streets: "A definite lords choice."
steve220 8. maj 2015 kl. 15:55
Just what I needed. I have a mod for Glass level chain, but now I can get it earlier. I might mod this to make lower level mail.
I should also add that this also works well with my Bosmer Full and Half capes from another mod.
Hinter Knight 17. dec. 2014 kl. 16:39
Cool idea I always wondered why there wasnt any chainmail in the game :)
Contra of The Boreal Valley 11. dec. 2014 kl. 4:54
are they avalible in teh coctoddtest?
BullBars1 3. aug. 2014 kl. 12:56
Does all the chainmail sets have possibles pouch and coin pouch attached to the belt?
Have you tried using the Nordic cuffed gontlet for fit withese armors?
I think a Monk's hood with the scarf draped down the back would look pretty cool on this armor.
The Mighty Duwang 8. juli 2014 kl. 22:04
its just a damn stupid recolor
ying_ko13 11. maj 2014 kl. 12:05
Jolly good Armor, that.
Jedem das seine 5. apr. 2014 kl. 21:17

Cant find it in any of the crafting areas
Holobicz 8. dec. 2013 kl. 6:18
Looks good, but i miss some chainmail hood. Don´t you plan to create some pleas?
Gnardustrial 11. juli 2013 kl. 10:21
my only issue is that the light armor version is very plain and odd looking, i think the shirt's not long enough.
Gnardustrial 11. juli 2013 kl. 10:20
one of my very favorite armor mods out there. i wish there were more... realistic chain armor sets out there like this one. Very befitting for a Jarl's war equipment if you ask me.
ajurebear 25. apr. 2013 kl. 9:17
I think the armour ratings are pretty well right on, realistically speaking. Historically speaking maille and scale were fairly similar in protection, with the heavier versions of the maille being, in some respects (but not all) better than plate. I look forward to trying these out.
adesbarats 5. apr. 2013 kl. 16:42
The chain hauberk is crazy wicked! Nice job! The light armor version needs....something. I think if you put the fur colar around the light chain shirt (like you did with the hauberk) and go with dark brown on the legs then that would make the light chain shirt pop!
Rune Red 16. mar. 2013 kl. 18:17
I enjoy your mods, but this is my favorite. Nice work.
Soul 13. feb. 2013 kl. 20:58
I'm playing with an argonian. When I wear the light mail...gloves...my arms has been gone!! Would you fix it?
yvan 3. feb. 2013 kl. 7:52
Superbe armures . Rien à redire
Roundabout 15. jan. 2013 kl. 19:14
Here's a suggestion: how about a mail hood?
A simple hood retexture would work, and add a lot to the mod. Great work!
Pentium Bear 30. nov. 2012 kl. 16:51
Can you move it to steel smithing? PLEASE!!!
Big Hen Broon 19. nov. 2012 kl. 10:30
i like the chain mail armor was wondering could you possably make the chain mail look more battle damaged or dirty rusty with dryed blood stains keep up the good work m8
taco 8. nov. 2012 kl. 19:07
can ya make heavy versions of ur light and light of ur heavy cuz the heavy seems too long for combat but the light is perfect cept aint heavy
Cat1313 28. okt. 2012 kl. 12:11
Well done mod, adds an authentic medieval knight look. I''ve tried both shirts and prefer the hauberk on look and function.

I'd like to see a Norman helmet, a greathelm, and a Templar-style surcoat, some authentic- design medieval European swords as well.
Cole 29. sep. 2012 kl. 1:04
Don't like those short sleeves.
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 23. juli 2012 kl. 0:05
@Caro Awesome, glad to see it's working for you again. Hopefully it works for everyone now, pity about the file sizes.
TORTUGA 22. juli 2012 kl. 12:54
Worked great for me, all textures are fixed and the armour looks great!
In the picture is my follower Marcutio with your Heavy Chainmail armour.

Also ignore Lydia's armour, thats a different mod.
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 22. juli 2012 kl. 4:54
I've just done an update, decompressing all the textures. It's increased the file size from ~15mb to 53 but it should fix the texture issues people are having. It'd be great if you could let me know it actually worked.
TORTUGA 21. juli 2012 kl. 23:00
@Ponty Oh yes, it happens with all of the textures on all the armours for followers and myself. I need not to screen cap those because it looks the exact same as the previous picture. Best of luck!
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 21. juli 2012 kl. 22:14
@Caro Oh my. That's quite a mess. I'll try uncompressing the textures (Almost tripling the file size) but that should work then.
TORTUGA 21. juli 2012 kl. 21:46
@Ponty I screen capped a picture of my Follower wearing the armour.

Good luck my friend and I hope this gets fixed! It's a wonderful Idea but it doesn't work with my Skyrim! Would love the mod when it works for me!
creepingdeath 4. juli 2012 kl. 19:29
Nice work and , if your lookin to do more with the armor you could try the blender , theres alot of tutorials on nexus on how to use it.
Wrangle 26. juni 2012 kl. 11:35
this is fantastic, good work :D! also you should make a mithril armor mod, like the one from oblivion. that would be awesome :D!!
76561198065316503 22. juni 2012 kl. 12:09
yeah it makes my body basically invisible
Dope Leo XIV #FlexCathedra 16. maj 2012 kl. 13:08
still make the oblivion chain armor and i will return the favor i PROMISE!
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 13. maj 2012 kl. 14:28
Can someone link a screenshot of what's going on here? I think the texture compression might be the issue (although it works fine on my end)
Premier666 13. maj 2012 kl. 13:58
Weirdly pixelated for me too, at least for now.
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2012 kl. 15:08
It appears some people have issues with the compression I used - I'll make a note to uncompress all the textures but it'll more than triple the file size!
Girthworm 5. maj 2012 kl. 14:58
when i see it in my inventory or crafting menu, and when i wear the armor, it's all pixelated and different colors :/
Randy Butternubs 27. apr. 2012 kl. 17:45
When you find out how to edit the meshes please make the feamle model of the dress shorter and add pants onto the female model anyeays keep up the good work i like this mod alot
eldritchsyntax (hammerfell) 25. apr. 2012 kl. 18:27
perhaps bandit chiefs should have a chance equip it?
Murderhobo 24. apr. 2012 kl. 16:10
Yeah, in red capital letters with flashy stuff >< Cheers mate.
Ponty  [ophavsmand] 24. apr. 2012 kl. 14:15
@bayzent It's under Advanced Armors, since they have the same stats as Scaled/Steel Plate. It's actually in the description, alot of people have asked that so maybe I should make it more obvious.
Murderhobo 24. apr. 2012 kl. 13:00
@ChaosMaiden Well I think it is kinda to give the feel that the Stormcloaks were originally just the Guards of Windhelm and its territories, I mean before being the FSA. I guess they kept the uniform afterwards just to give more a feel that they were more "national" than the Imperial Troops, but you never know...

@Ponty How do I craft them? I can't find them anywere in the crafting menu. I just got Steel though, is it on advanced armors?
Aselesh 24. apr. 2012 kl. 6:01
@bayzent
i am already using that mod, since otherwise i'd probably go postal every time i see guards/stormcloaks with this ugly helmet :s

so it's a good thing mods like this or
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9323 this exist

always found it kind of silly that all guards looked alike and all stormcloaks looked like all those generic guards as well.

and i'm pretty sure i came across some helmets and hoods in skyrim which make your character bald below them as well, it's just hard to see with most of them.
not to mention some random female bandits being bald by default... but i guess that's an elven thing :P
Murderhobo 24. apr. 2012 kl. 5:50
My problem with chainmail bikini is that it breaks my suspension of disbelief, even though I am a dude...weird stuff I guess. At any rate you saved my game from forcing me to go with that ugly leather armor the rest of my low level existence until I could craft Elven, and for that I owe you an internet, sir.
Murderhobo 24. apr. 2012 kl. 5:48
@ChaosMaiden

Guard helmets like this

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9514 ?

Problem with M&B models, specially helmets is that they make the models bald by default,ao you still have to tweak them a bit so it doesn't become "Skyrim, the Realm of Alopecia" (along with the rigging and adding maps stuff you have to do when you port models)
