as far as where everything goes, the mod is setup in a way that it itself is the "framework". so after playing for a bit you can see where stuff goes and at the stopping points you can swap them out if you want before clicking finish setup.

Almost all schemes are scripted. the ones that aren't are the exception. and they will print to you if they don't, sometime they won't fully setup, but require you to do something. Now that the mod is pretty much done I am going to make an actual final guide on how to use the mod and what's possible.
as far as stuff getting yoinked into hands. the easiest way to visually mark the "yoink areas" is to click the playmat button for each player. at the start part of the "player setup" just runs the end of turn script for each player so anything there will get yoinked. well I think I coded a bit of logic which I was going to add an if seated logic code, but then I made the being able to play 2 handed thing. weird stuff.

Played ML for the first time in years on New years. "Damn, I still like this game, need more expansions........ oh.... 450eu per big box... TO TTS!!!" and some amazing person made this. Thanks!!! Already played a few games. Is there a list of scripted schemes? I got Divide and Conquer. Console told me to "read" - I presume the scheme. So I made the 5 hero type decks, pushed setup and they all vanished to player's drawpile as I placed them in the player area xD woops. I dnno what I should have done there. I guess move them all to the top and play them from there.

sorry to hear that you wound't be able to update it for the foreseeable future. For what it's worth, the work you put into this mod is greatly appreciated and you deserve all the kudos for keeping up with it as you could. Hopefully something comes around to keep this mod going but that still doesn't change the fact that you've been great for even making the mod to begin.

Alright! Time for bad news bears... I am unable to reasonably update the mod at this point.
ATOM (coding thingy I was using) died. It's gone! Tabletop has been made aware of this and pointed to the replacement.... A long Time ago. They have done nothing to support it working. I was using some "Hacked" Visual Studio Plugin to write code in and push it to tabletop, now that's not working/is outdated.

I am unable to feasibly modify the code, so I guess the mod is staying as is until that gets changed. I have no idea when or if that will happen. If you do know of a way to edit the code reasonably easily without dumping it to a GIT library let me know.
Until then the mod will stay up and if anyone want's to continue working on it I will keep all image links alive, plus all the code is contained within the mod.
It's been awesome working on the mod, I have learned a lot over the years, but who knows.. Maybe one day you'll launch it up and see Weapon X added. Until then.. Have a good one.

@Arrow Prime I'll probs start working on it Monday. I'll be sure to leave a comment when I get it added. I've been playing a lot of POE 2 this week, but I'm at a stopping point, so the expansion's up next after the weekend.

I'm getting an error when loading the last 5 items on start up. And because of that it's taking 20 minutes ish to start a new game. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue?

Oh I think I found the solution to my problem. I need to keep it on the default Domino board when I save, and then change the board when I load the save state. If I change the board before making the save state, the finish setup button breaks

Great Mod! I was trying to do a bit of custom setup, modify the bystander deck for a few expansions and preset some things like expansions and mats and save that. If I'm reading previous comments correctly, I should be able to create my game state, then save, and then when I want to reload I use "Loaded Setup" and that will create the finish setup button? Whenever I press loaded setup however, I get an error message saying "attempt to index a nil value" and the setup button does not spawn. Is there something else I need to do to make sure the setup button actually appears?

Understandable. Granted, it probably won't be released till '25 but it was announced like next week and for the most part it's just an updated version. New art, new effects for both heroes and the mastermind/villain groups. I know for a fact that they are added Miles Morales as a new hero in this updated version because they have to replace Deadpool.

@EvilGrinNol They are reprinting the base set again???? LOL. IDK how I'm gonna handle that, I'll probs add it like a big box so you can choose whether to have the OG base set or the new one.
Note: that's a lot easier to handle than the phase 1 expansion because It's a complete reprint rather than a reprint that's suppose to be an expansion.

2099 is showing up in just base game as we tested this, had the villain alchemax enforcers show up.

@Reffy, You are welcome to your opinion, but I don't know how I could make manually selecting your own heroes any easier. You just put them in the H.Q. before selecting setup... The game is convoluted because of years of expansions. There are other boards to use as well... While I value Opinions yours seem to be useless...

I'm still impressed at how bad and convoluted this is. Still no option to manually select your heroes unless you use autism.

Still trashy default board.

But I give credit where credit is due, it is being updated regularly.

A very small issue:
I started a new game with "World War Hulk" and "2099" selected, and Jentorra from Quantumania was also included in the heroes pool.

funny enough i don't usually use the epic side anyway. I just throw a plus 1 or 2 counter on the MM as per the original ruleset. I don't think I have ever encountered a mm where the epic side was actually different with the text.

It is a little hard to find good images of them, but I found ones that are serviceable. Some are even slightly better quality than the photo-pulls from in game.

Would it be possible to update the Ant-Man and Champions masterminds to have their epic sides? I can do it manually, but it would be nice to not have to. Thank you for all you do to keep this mod up to date.

@berney.pellett Thanks for pointing out the thor I'll get that fixed real quick. I was probably in a rush when putting it together and just went by the card cost instead of looking at the actual amount of cards for each. Hopefuly I can get 2099 in soon. A friend of mine implemented it into her version so I might grab the cards from there :)

Thor (HoA) has the wrong combination of cards. Mjolnir is uncommon (should be 3x copies) but there are 5. His 5-cost common should have 5x copies, but there are 3.

VS code has extensions for tabletop simulator. Not sure whether one of them covers everything the atom one did. I'm using https://github.com/rolandostar/tabletopsimulator-lua-vscode
