You can also drag a ped path ending with a node at ground level to the middle of the platform, tyst should connect to the hidden paths already there.

Took me a while to fully test this, but here are some of my findings to make others' lives easier.
Pedestrians will not use the path points connected to either end of the station if the station is too close to a non-highway oriented road. road height does not affect this, instead, pedestrians will walk to the parallel road as if it's adjacent. This causes weird floating and sinking passengers for elevated/sunken stations. In order to prevent this make sure the station is at least 2 squares away from nearest road, and obviously make sure you have paths connected to one or both of the end points for the station.

Otherwise phenomenal asset.

@Leeijo But there's a two-way station tracks in the vanilla game so it is theoretically possible to do a similar version without dependencies, right? Or am I missing something?
Leeijo  [author] Sep 24, 2019 @ 2:07pm
Sorry no, there are no one-way station tracks in vanilla I'm afraid.

This might be an obvious question but I'm rather new to using Workshop assets: Isn't there any chance of getting this generic station without the "One-Way Train Tracks" and "Extra Train Station Tracks ( ETST )" requirements? I want to use as few custom assets as possible and those seem redundant given that we got one-way train tracks with patch 1.7.0.

@Kedryn71 - That looks fantastic!

That would be super helpful. :) I'm not very original (the only station I even vaguely remember being in is Amsterdam Central years ago) and don't have much knowledge to pull from. Here's an example of my 'originality' with how I used three of these platforms together with a PO'd station: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1837041121

Thanks!
I've used them in my last Oceanside plaza build, but that's the only so far. I will do some more rail stations in the future.

These are really nice and work really well, even though I was expecting train jams with only the single, two-way track. Do you build these in any of your videos? I'd kinda like to get some ideas.
