严岛神社。

The +1 appeal this wonder adds to all tiles in the city so early on can be really good with certain abilities.

Bull Moose Teddy can settle 2 tiles away from the coast and build it in their 3rd tile ring to get as many land tiles as possible affected, which can be incredible with his science and culture ability.

Similarly, Australia can use this wonder very early on to pump up their appeal bonus ability and get some incredible district yields.
Gilgamesh 13. okt. 2023 kl. 9:54
For everyone saying that this wonder is underpowered, they forget just how amazing adding +1 appeal to EVERY tile in the city during a culture game. And if youre worried about the production cost, you can cross out the production to a monument because it grants one for free.
TheShicksinator 26. juli 2023 kl. 17:02
For some reason the effect, after working for a while, is completely disappearing?
Tocharius 17. sep. 2022 kl. 5:44
great mod, but i don't see when the wonder would be very useful. it doesn't come with sailing (as you wrote above) but with celestial navigation, and it cost about 25% more than the great lighthouse itself. for what the wonder gives you, and for the delicate time early in the game when you make it, imho it should cost the same as a district - because all it gives you, basically, are adjacency bonuses but without the district to build in. if you build the wonder, you either lose out on the great lighthouse and one district, or two districts and a settler with a builder. so please - puh-lease! - i beg you. lower the production to that of a district, and instead of being a wonder, have it a special building for just japan. please? thank you.
DeadWeatherDrums 23. apr. 2022 kl. 18:50
Just for the record, I absolutely love the idea (and visuals) of this wonder, but I feel it should be stronger. (The bloody thing costs 400 Production, which is a **** ton early on). Either lots of bonuses to the host city, or smaller bonus to all cities (ok, that might be OP) and I don't think it needs to built next to a Holy Site. It's so cool and visual from afar that it would attract many to the city, as it does even today, holy site be damned.

That's my two cents. Thanks for the great mod. I'm gonna add it and see if it even works these days and I'll report back.
DeadWeatherDrums 23. apr. 2022 kl. 18:49
@Deliverator / Anyone -- So, what exactly does this do? It is hard to tell from the conflicting Comments and pictures in the description above. I think it used to give a lot of adjacency bonuses to all cities with Holy Sites and Theater Squares, but now just gives bonuses (Standard and Minor, respectively) to the city it was built in. Does it also give the +1 Culture and Faith in the Civilopedia picture, and does it need to be built next to a Holy Site?
Epicsvenne 12. apr. 2022 kl. 5:44
Does anyone know if this mod has any known incompatibilities with other mods? The wonder didn't appear in the buildable wonder list in my game (not even greyed out), it was only visible on the technology ui

素敵!

Every dam thing in asia has scaffolding on it. I went to SEA for 4 months and it was such a disappointment that so much was blocked by scaffolding. stays on for yearszzz cuz they're so slow and hardly ever work on them.
magiccoupons(∩ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 16. aug. 2021 kl. 7:06
ah wow didn't expect this to be a mod, went to see this in 2019, had scaffolding all over it due to maintenance haha

@sportybrian - Every wonder provides tourism by default.

This stacks well with indonesia

@Deliverator23
Is Description of wonder in this page right?
I think it need updated.
sportybrian 23. sep. 2020 kl. 23:04
"The Itsukushima shrine is one of Japan's most popular tourist attractions."
... but there's no Tourism bonus??
GaroBarbarian 7. sep. 2020 kl. 12:54
i like it

Thank you
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 2. juni 2020 kl. 22:27
@Angel: Yes.
Angel 2. juni 2020 kl. 17:42
does this work with the current DLC?
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 28. apr. 2020 kl. 13:44
OK cool something must have been off we the way I tested it.
Tremualin 27. apr. 2020 kl. 23:51
I see the bonuses for both Theater and Holy Site districts; and they seem to work fine for all cities.
Captain Trout 22. apr. 2020 kl. 15:29
I'm seeing bonuses for all Holy Sites, but no Theater districts in game.
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 21. apr. 2020 kl. 10:10
As far as I can the adjacency bonuses only affect the Wonder host city. Do you think I should make the description more clear?
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 21. apr. 2020 kl. 10:08
v1.05
* Fixed Minor Adjacency for Theatre Square.

Sorry this has taken a while. Thanks for the pointers.
Laurana Kanan 21. apr. 2020 kl. 0:54
@Tremualin - Yep reverting to the previous 'integer' values would correct the issue.
Tremualin 20. apr. 2020 kl. 18:31
This fixed the problem for me:

INSERT INTO ModifierArguments (ModifierId, Name, Value) VALUES ('ITSUKUSHIMA_THEATER_COAST_CULTURE', 'Amount', 1);
INSERT INTO ModifierArguments (ModifierId, Name, Value) VALUES ('ITSUKUSHIMA_THEATER_COAST_CULTURE', 'TilesRequired', 2);
Laurana Kanan 19. apr. 2020 kl. 4:54
@Deliverator23 - Could it be that the argument for that ModifierType can only accept integers?
Captain Trout 18. apr. 2020 kl. 17:23
Same error as @ShininGeek happening for me
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 12. apr. 2020 kl. 14:41
@ShininGeek: It seems that in nerfing it - I broke it. Will see if I can figure out the issue.
ShininGeek 9. apr. 2020 kl. 12:10
So, while my theater squares are showing they can get adjacency from coast tiles, they aren't actually gaining any culture from coast tiles
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. 2020 kl. 8:11
v1.04
* Reduced Gameplay effect to Standard +1 Adjacency for Holy Site and +0.5 Minor Adjacency for Theatre Square.
Varenyky 27. mar. 2020 kl. 21:25
This mod is a bit OP. I'm gonna change the gameplay file so it only gives +1 faith adjacency per coast tile next to it.
DukeChillington 24. feb. 2020 kl. 23:52
This is so great especially with Gitarja I love it.
Salmuth 27. jan. 2020 kl. 13:29
I have to say I agree with the players saying this needs to be balanced. The idea is great and I think it'd be played even more if it could fit multiplayer games.
I'm actually looking here for a way to find where the proper file is so I change the values a little.

Anyways, great mod and thank you!
Huan 24. jan. 2020 kl. 12:47
I love your wonders, thank you for your hard work! I had this wonder in a game, was on the coast, built some theater squares on peninsulas, and boom, nobody could touch me culturally. I agree with the previous comments, I can't play multiplayer with this wonder, too OP. My suggestion would be to limit the adjacency bonuses to districts in the city where the wonder was built. Again, my gratitude outweighs my criticism :)
Charles 16. jan. 2020 kl. 13:39
True... This one is OP
mattheuslemehirt 16. jan. 2020 kl. 13:36
Why make it so overpowered?
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2019 kl. 23:48
v1.04
* Fix Localization bug.
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2019 kl. 1:58
@Gedemo: I actually fixed that about a month ago - I just haven't got around to uploading the fixed version yet. Thanks for the reminder.
Melliores 26. okt. 2019 kl. 22:46
Tried it also in a few games, when I managed to build/capture it, Holy sites were all of a sudden +7/8. It would be wise to either tone down the bonus or limit it just to that city.
Shanomo 26. okt. 2019 kl. 22:09
Gotta agree with Scuttlefriend's comment below, even though I love both the mods look and have fond memories of seeing it in real life too, in the first game I used it I'm getting OP culture/faith output now. Will disable it for my next playthrough, but just adding my 2 cents here in case others agree too.
Scuttlefriend 22. okt. 2019 kl. 6:30
Empire-wide major adjacency seems a little bit on the powerful side.
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 7. okt. 2019 kl. 3:44
v1.02
* Fixed Fog of War graphics.
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. 2019 kl. 9:28
@tristanjff: Yeah, I understand the issue but I'm not sure how to fix it from a 3D graphic point of view. Apparently the sea tile cloth map behaves differently to the land tiles. Will try and have another go at some point.
tristanjff 2. sep. 2019 kl. 5:47
@Deliverator23 you can see the outline of wonders if they're in an area of the map you have previously seen but can't see now right? But Itsukishima doesn't
I've used the search function to find it instead
Deliverator23  [ophavsmand] 2. sep. 2019 kl. 4:34
@tristanjff: I'm not sure how to fix this as it's not an issue with land based wonders. Does the whole Wonder appear in the fog for Great Lighthouse and Colossus etc? By the way you can always check the Strategic View as it appears there.
tristanjff 19. aug. 2019 kl. 4:38
Will you add graphics so that you can see it through the fog? At the moment you cannot see it when it is not directly in your field of vision.
gt121 18. aug. 2019 kl. 0:48
Thank you for this great mod! I like this wonder a lot, but I have a couple questions.
Q1: Is this meant to grant adjacency to every holy site and theater square in every city? That is the effect in my game, but the description made it sound like it was only giving adjacency to a holy site or theater square next to the wonder.
Q2: Any chance of adding stages of completion? The animation when the wonder is done is one of my favorite things about building wonders, and I noticed this one didn't have an animation.
Thanks!
