This is seriously impressive

Added to my scenario! Makes a cool research vessel on an icy planet. Thank you!

Exterior design is interesting, but the interior is lacking, and the warp drive/pentax storage is problematic. Simply standing in front of the constructor, to use it, results in +23c, over ambient temp increase, and +4 rads per second. Without some interior redesign, I wouldn't recommend using this.

I like this design approach, it looks different then most other designs. Gives it a certain feel for how a real space craft would look.

Sweet looking design! Excellent work!

Love the purpose built look to this. It really looks like a science vessel! Maybe a tad more color on the inside? ;-). What are the slots in the nose for? Were you planning some kind of docking mechanism there, or is this intended to be where science equipment would go, etc?

This is way better than my first attempt!

I love the windows on the bridge!

Very cool ship! Looks like the big sister to the sv I've been using since A7:steamhappy:

great design!

This is a really nice design for the intended purpose, there are a couple things I noticed that I'd like to mention.
Some of the thrusters do not have the "Thruster & RCS" signal applied to them and having the switch in the hangar is perhaps counter-intuitive (most designs I have seen it is near the bridge/cockpit). Additionally you could simplify the life-support by removing the hangar ventilator and the forcefield between it and the constructor, you would retain 3 separate pressurised areas running of the one ventilator, very efficient.
Finally, you could easily reduce the cost and unlock level by replacing the large thrusters with medium ones and the T3 fuel tank for a pair of T2 ones while maintaining similar maneuverability.

Thanks Apollyon Sephrajin and iyos. @iyos, thank you for the feedback. Indeed, my lack of survival experience shows, i need to balance things from a functionality perspective :)

Although saying that below, I guess your idea for this CV was just as a small exploration CV...which I guess fits the role as you built it, and carrying other vehicles isnt what this is for. However I still think it limits its use, as its a great design. Anyway good job again mate

Very nice design mate..
I know it's only a small CV, however there isnt much space for docking HV's and SV's - I know larger hangars and/or landing pad's can sometimes be a hindrance (and add to the cost and size) to the design, but I think it's useful functionality to have for a CV, as it is one of its main roles...for me anyway.
Also it's very nimble for a CV, but that's just my personal preference to thinking larger CV's shoudnt be super nimble, many like it that way though. Possibly needs more fuel tanks as with only 1 small HV or SV docked, you would likely be bringing this CV planetside more often, which heavier CV's use more fuel when they are flying around planetside.
Anyway only because you asked for suggestions/feedback :)... Otherwise not to take anything away from the build, its a very cool CV design, inside and out. Really like it...Thumbs up from me

Nice ship.. I like the interior of it very much.
Do you have anything else on the workshop ?
