Hey, Do i need to install drivers on Windows 10?

dude i dont understand this wheel. i cant use the r2 and l2 buttons becouse the those buttons are the same as the padels, if i press the right pedal to bind it to accelaration it thinks i am pressing r2. i cant find any hori apex drivers that might help, the only thing that i found from hori was firmwere but i cant install that couse it says my file version is older than my device version. enyone that can help

Hi, I own a Hori Apex Racing Wheel Rwa steering wheel (PS4, PS3, PC) and I am trying to play F1 2019 with him on my computer. When I set it up in-game it is recognized as an xbox 360 control, not letting me put the steering wheel's maximum degrees. So if I am at high speed I turn half the wheel and in the game turn just a little (because it looks like an xbox control) would anyone know how to make the game recognize it as a steering wheel?

This stupid wheel ( i own the same) has duplicated buttons it comes like this from the factory so annoying

What I did was put the Flywheel in PS4-S or PS3 mode, and I went to Game Device Settings in WINDOWS 7.
When you go to calibration, it allows you to configure them as axis Z Left rear button (-) and Right rear button (+)
Rotation X (Brake), Rotation Y (Accelerator). Then you calibrated that, put it back into PS4-N mode and enable the other buttons without interfering with each other.

Yes I reinstalled the Hori Apex drivers. At first I thought that it was because of the fact that this steering wheel is not on the compatibility list of F1 2019. The wheel works and the buttons also work, but to clearify, I only have the limited options of a xbox 360 controller, which means that the shifters interfere with my buttons and my pedals with the triggers (L2 and R2). I can't find anything online about people having this same issue, but now I see that Bushido has the same problem.

But just to be sure: GeneiRyodan, you can use the break and throttle pedals and the buttons L2 and R2 for different uses? e.g. increasing/decresing ERS?

Check your Apex Hori manual and rebind those keys to different keys on your steering wheel.

I have the same problem. Windows is indeed detecing Hori Apex as a regular xbox 360 controller. Because of that my L2 and R2 buttons are interfering with my pedals, because F1 2019 sees them as the same buttons. Same principle goes for my shifters and button 'X' and 'A'. Any idea how to fix this?

That means the game and/or windows is not detecting your Hori Apex as 'Hori Apex' but as a regular controller? try switching the modes (ps4-n to ps4-s) and vice versa.
