@Carlton Banks It uses some unused pistol sounds that aren't really needed, they already have it's own complete set, this "pistol silver" used to be the default pistol but then they decided that the pistols should share the same sounds. Desert Eagle also has it's own sounds, but without the script it shares the tiny pistol sounds.... So yeah, this "pistol silver" doesn't exist anymore.

This conflicts with a ton of pistol mods, why is that?

@Boi Without a script you can't. Default m60 you will get AKM reload instead, the sole purpose of this gun is to have a portable machinegun and not make the 50 cal useless. However the 50 cal mostly appears in l4d2 maps and it's not that common either. The m60 appears in the dlc map "the passing" and some L4D1 maps, the gun itself is also rare because it has a chance to turn into GL. Stick to AKM. If you're playing singleplayer, download a script to make it better because it's weaker than AKM and the accuracy is also worse on the move.
