@dragoneer i discovered the problem. it was a skintone mod. i just felt like asking until i found a new and better skintone mod. but thank you for the info!
Dragoneer  [author] Sep 18, 2021 @ 6:52am
long story short: there are so many things that could cause the eyes to spaz out that unless i check through your whole mod list, AND get myself re-familiarised to skyrim and the modding scene (it's been over 5 years since i played this) i couldnt tell you what is the cause of it, but i could probably fix it.
but as you might be able to understand: i do not feel like spending DAYS to make a bug patch to fix a problem 1 person has, as immersion breaking as it might be
Dragoneer  [author] Sep 18, 2021 @ 6:49am
@HellHounds20 it sounds like you got some mod(s) that alter how argonians look, if that is the case, my mod probably wont be able to fix that. i would say; try it out and see what happens
my mod is specifically made to be used with the lizards of skyrim mod. i have noticed that some NPC's of specific races do get messed up eyes, but i havent been tinkering with that to try and fix it.
i can say for sure that modded races wont be fixed by my mod though, it's only made for all vanilla NPC's (the DLC NPC's are in the legendary edition on the nexus)
Hellhounds20_TTV Sep 16, 2021 @ 4:54pm
so i feel like i need to ask. my argonians and even the fennec race gets this "face derp" but it's only one eye. the left eye shifts and turns inward making it look....infected. does this mod fix that as well?

r.w.stephenson Apr 15, 2016 @ 3:47pm
Okay. Thats fine. My character is achually normal.
Dragoneer  [author] Apr 9, 2016 @ 12:42am
@r.wstephenson
this is a texture bug fix for a different mod that makes ALL NPC argonian
this bug fix is specifically made to fix people who got messed up when they bacame argonian.
if you install this mod without the REQUIRED MOD then this mod will:
A) not do anything
B) make all NPC look derpy as hell
i know its a very long wall of text, but please, try to read all of the important information.:divine:
r.w.stephenson Apr 8, 2016 @ 8:15pm
Wait, does this only work for that race? Cause im a Fennec Fox and my face looks a bit mest up.... Like.... Its not horrible, but its... Well... Not really right. Like how it was in the beggining.
Dragoneer  [author] Apr 7, 2016 @ 8:03am
@BlytzDragon you're welcome :divine:
BlytzDragon Apr 7, 2016 @ 8:01am
Hey! Thanks for the fix up to one of my best mods every! ^.=.^
Urdbestplaya Jul 13, 2015 @ 6:38pm
Alright already done
Dragoneer  [author] Jul 13, 2015 @ 1:43pm
@urdbestplaya how about you read the full mod description
this is a texture fix for another mod, you are NOT meant to use this mod on its own
so either install the required mod, or uninstall this mod, simple as that, because it is literally imposible for me to 'fix' said issue, because the only way to do that, is be uninstalling this :divine:
Urdbestplaya Jul 12, 2015 @ 9:22pm
This mod makes it worse for the other races, fix this
Dragoneer  [author] Feb 10, 2015 @ 8:21am
@PVT.Rex i looked through your list of screenshots, and i can safely tell you that this mod has nothing to do with the few issues i saw.
this mod does not touch armors, so the glitched out, untextured black armors, is not caused by this mod
some vampires cannot be fixed, its a uknown issue within skyrim itself, so you will indeed sometimes encounter a vampire who still lookes wierd.
some NPC's have wierd eyes due to the way LoS turns pepole into argonians, this is, again, something that my mod doesn't touch, as this mod only makes 2 small changes to all NPC.
im sorry to hear you are having issues, but these are known issues i am cannot fix. :divine:

your welcome :divine:
Ninja Puppy246 Jan 23, 2015 @ 9:39am
Thanks dragoninahuman that helped alot :)
Dragoneer  [author] Jan 23, 2015 @ 7:59am
you could try it, here is the mod loading order you should try to fix it in:

1: mod that caused the skin tone issues
2: Lizards of skyrim mod
3: (legendary) Derp Face Cure mod

i cant guarantee that it will work, if the mod that causes this discoloration issue adds NPC's, this texture bug fix mod should not be able to fix your issues, it might, but i doubt it.
Dragoneer  [author] Jan 23, 2015 @ 7:59am
this mod ONLY works on non-DLC NPC's if they have been turned into Argonians, that are in the base game.
in the description, ther is a link to the nexus, where you can get a version that also includes all NPC's for all the 3 DLC.
this mod is specificly made to fix all NPC's that have been turned into Argonians through the use of the 'Lizards of Skyrim' mod, it is not made to fix anny issues from anny other mods, also, this mod only actually does something if the NPC's are Argonians.

to awnser your questions:
yes, this mod is supposed to only work on Argonians.
no, this mod alone SHOULD not be able to fix your issues.
if you dont mind/if you like everyone being a Argonian, then yes, you need the Lizards of Skyrim mod to fix everything, IF the mod that is causing this issue allows it.
Ninja Puppy246 Jan 22, 2015 @ 10:23am
Does this mod only work on Argonians because ive been noticing that the skin discolorations are now happening to humans and other races after i downloaded a mod, but i really dont want to get rid of the mod so im wondering if i can use this mod to fix the problem with my game or if i need the lizards of skyrim mod.
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 18, 2014 @ 2:12pm
thanks! :D

Sounds like fun lol take your time then, I'm a paitent person, so I don't mind.
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 29, 2013 @ 1:31am
ill look into it one day, atm i spend most/all of my time with other games, but ill look into it eventually.
a 10-14 hour project of doing the exact same damn thing over and over and over roughly 1500 times is not something you look forward to.
but ill look into it.:divine:
Ruvaak Beyn Dec 28, 2013 @ 4:06pm
I noticed alot of derp faced Khajiit whenever I use Cats of Skyrim. I'm not usin' it atm for that reason :/ so yes, I'm hopin' you'll look into it.
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 28, 2013 @ 3:25pm
for what i heared, the kajiit bugs werent so bad and only verry small, i dont know couse i dont use the CoS mod, but i could maby look at it.
maby tough, took me i beleve 14 hours to complete this mod, couse its all manual work i would need to do, so....:divine:
Ruvaak Beyn Dec 28, 2013 @ 11:02am
There gonna be one for Khajiit?
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 28, 2013 @ 1:49am
no problem, also, keep that in mind with other mods, some mods require to be at the absolute bottom of the load list to work, mine only needs to be under LoS, but it usually sayes on the mod page, and otherwise, if it requires a diffrent mod, it needs to be below that.
:divine:
mrvulcan Dec 27, 2013 @ 4:16pm
good to know!!!! thanks!
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 23, 2013 @ 11:41pm
i had this my first time as well, you live and you learn right?
and if the mod doesnt work, make sure you go into the 'data files' at the startup menu of skyrim, and in that list, make sure that this mod is loaded AFTER the lizards of skyrim mod.(the lower the mod is, the later it will load, so this one needs to be below LoS)
:divine:
mrvulcan Dec 23, 2013 @ 10:54pm
nvm
mrvulcan Dec 23, 2013 @ 10:53pm

Baconater_1000 Dec 21, 2013 @ 10:56am
thanks i'll try. ive heard of nexus, but i never found the time to do it
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 21, 2013 @ 12:05am
well, there are some awesome mods you can only find on the nexus, also using the nexus for my Legendary Derp Face Cure makes it so you can install more mods!(not really but sort of)
i heared that steam only allows you to subscribe to 50 mods at a time... the nexus doesnt limit you at all!(i heared):divine:
Baconater_1000 Dec 20, 2013 @ 1:03pm
okay
Dragoneer  [author] Dec 19, 2013 @ 10:59pm
im sorry, but i cant, not without making a seperate mod page for it.
i dont know if it will couse issues for pepole who dont have all 3 DLC, becouse no one is giving me feedback on it, and using the nexus mod manager to install it is really easy, just install it, done, nothing special needed.:divine:
Baconater_1000 Dec 19, 2013 @ 4:22pm

Litvir Oct 18, 2013 @ 1:50am
Cheers, mate!
Dragoneer  [author] Oct 17, 2013 @ 6:52am
my mod cures the derp faces, not create them, and i made the mod becouse the messed up faces were bothering me, so instead of complaining about it, i did something about it.
the cats of skyrim mod however, i dont use, so it cant bother me, and i wont JUST make a fix (if i can) for cats of skyrim, becouse its a process that takes over 10 hours of work, its boring, and mind killing.
reason enough?:divine:
Dragoneer  [author] Sep 24, 2013 @ 7:02am
i... i dont use the cats of skyrim mod, so i dont know anything of the derp faces of that mod, if ther are anny.
if ther are derp faces in the cats of skyrim mod, i might start making a fix for that too, but i probebly wont start that untill i actually get a bunch of pepole asking for it.
