Are they working on their own W990? I haven't heard anything about it, if so I'm pumped!

will this still be worked on after SCS drops their W990?

So recently i went to hop on ATS and it said this mod was incompatible (i have v1.49 for incompatible mods currently running) and I have had that version for a while, and this truck worked fine. I went and downloaded the mod online (not from the workshop) and it says it's compatible, but doesn't show the truck in any dealerships. I tried reeverting back to 1.45 and it still said this mod was incompatible. if anyone has any suggestions, it would be very appreciated. this truck was my go to...

I found out wrong about the dashboard in the W990. But one thing is true about this truck. Kenworth added an optional 2-piece flat glass.

First of all thanks for keeping this nice truck alive against these useless updates..
Second, can you please add modern style hood mirrors from old or new T680 please?
Because the current classic hood mirrors are not looking nice on this truck, and the right one has a bug: it does not show the main mirror, you can only see the lights on it :P

Hey there. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but this truck has a wide variety of dashboards. It has the T680 dash, the W900 dash with a full gauge display, and I am not sure, but I think you could put in a Peterbilt 379 dash but I am not sure. I do know that in 2019 that Kenworth had the famous W900 full gauge dash and the T680 dash. Also to turn things up, you can even split the windshield and have a choice of either having the parallel wipers, the T680 wipers, and I even saw a custom design to where you could have a split windshield with both wipers facing towards the middle.

The game was just updated I think to 1.54. roll back 1.53 and it should work. Or wait till Modder updated the mod.

The game says the mod in incompatible with the current version.

There's a problem with the mod. When choosing 18 speed transmissions from the mod, I get a 13-speed shifter instead of an 18-speed shifter inside the cab. All the other transmissions show the correct shifter.

@丁卂尺口山工丅 You will not get your money back, so you will have to sell it to not lose to much money. If you do not sell you will be get a fallback 389 which is worth 10k iirc...or maybe the 389 is only awarded to your ai drivers.

guys just a quick question: has anyone a workaround to acutally name the Truck in the truck browser correctly?
it shows as "truck_browser_brand_kenworth_w900" in the truck explorer list.
i checked all the .sii files, but the exakt name is nowhere to find and to rename.

what happen if i do not sell

it will be my first truck modification so i need to know what happen when i delete the mod and also have this truck in garage and on me

@Kaaxin, seems unlikely, I have both installed and no issues.

@country... The mod has been updated. Un-subscribe and subscribe. After steam updates the mod it should be fixed.

game still crashes even after editing the file it starts to bring up a place to quick travel then freezes and crashes i guess i renamed the wrong part of the file.

@country_music_fan8525 Its all left click. You can copy and paste the path in the search bar in files as well, just might take awhile to load.

If you want to update yourself follow this path on your computer:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\270880\1781104022

Click on " versions.sii" then change the number to the current update, in this case 1.53. Save and the mod will work.

Thanks for the 1.52 update before the Halloween event will happen. I guess they went to the Driving Academy and back when they graduated.
