There are already a few mods on the workshop that add a bound axe and pickaxe.

I may not be using this properly, but I can't seem to mine with the pickaxe.

hey man, i love the retexture you've done on the pickaxe....I'm hoping to create a pickaxe related mod and i'd like to have a unique looking texture for it, would you be willing to allow me to use the one you've made here? i will of course give you full credit for your work

looked it up, Marvel Mine is the name of it.. go in, fight a dragon to unlock the mine... pretty neat mod.. could do something like that, or... perhaps keep them together.. put a bear in Embershard mine near the end that drops them... you could make him a 'boss' little tougher than a normal bear
Fatum Sep 14, 2013 @ 1:05pm
err.. the pick in a mine the axe of of some lumberjack.. or maybe a bear that ate the lumberjack lol

I dont mean like end game hard... like make them a drop for a boss in a mine.. like that mod (cant think of the name) where you have to fight a dragon to get a key, but it has endless ore.

That is a good point, I will probly rebalance it with the next update. I don't want to make them harder to get though as I intend for them to be something you have throughout a playthrough.

Cool idea, but feels like a cheat :p make them hard to get and make the axe only 1000... i mean who is going to have 10,000 in stuff anyway without cheating? :)
