Ok sorry @TheGreyLight I was drunk on Melatonin and when I'm tired I tend to be a little over dedicated to the TES series

BLASPHEMER: How could you not remember the name of our lord, The Mistress of Murk, Patron to Theives, Godess of Shadows and all that is sneak. Prince Nocturnal.

That's basically what I was going for :)
emil.spinell1 May 15, 2015 @ 10:47am

magegang  [author] Apr 27, 2015 @ 12:08am
It was ment to be a stash left by a previous thief, sort of as a reward for finishing the nightingale/thieves guild questline, but I can see where you are coming from. And thanks :)

wow tone down those chests, i know its fitting but geez, i would like to store my stuff without clearing out 10000 septims worth of gems and coin, maybe post a less op version or something, i know i could just put it all in a barrel if i dont want to use them i guess. also the place could use more mannequins for showing off armor. but overall this is a great mod =)

In response to the recent changes to steam which allow creators to charge for mods:

To be honest im really dissapointed. One of the best things about modding is that it was free and available to everyone. It is was community creating imaginitive content for other people to enjoy. There were no restrains to what could be done. It was such a special thing for me as a creator to share my little piece of the world with everyone, and paying for mods really ruins it.

I can understand why steam would think that this would be beneficial for the creators. Supporting creators for thier works seems like a good idea in theory. But it isnt about the money, its about the joy of creating, and having others experience your creation...
magegang  [author] Apr 24, 2015 @ 5:31pm
...I always used to get so much excitement from viewing the front page, and looking at all of the amazing content everyone has created. All of it free and available for everyone to enjoy. Soon it will just be a wall full of numbers and closed doors. It will be a dissapointment, looking at all the content you could have if you were richer. These days it seems like every game is becoming pay to play.

Modding should be free. If you really want to support creators steam, have an ad show before download. This way the content is still free, and creator still get a bit of money for their work. Monitzation is going to kill this community. It will suck all the life and joy out of modding for everyone.

Even though im not actively creating mods anymore, all of my mods will remain free forever. Im really sorry this has happened, an I wish it werent the case.

I may be weird but I still do not see the purpose of displaying stuff in your home. I sell everything that is not used or will not be used in the future. I make a ton of gold that way. Isn't gold more important? I have almost 200 grand in gold from selling valuable weapons and armor.

Hi. I had a couple of minor suggestions that would really improve 'Twilight Watch'. Before I say anything though, I think that this is a wonderful idea that you've come up with. I like the cave add-on and the setting, and the almost-isolated feel.

The one thing that bothers me most is the too-bright, washed-out lighting. I think that darkening the house and adding candles/lanterns would give it a more-realistic, more-Skyrim feel. The addition of a cooking pot/fire would be a nice thought, too.

That's my suggestions, but I don't expect you to go through with them. Personally, this is the next step I would take in defining the 'home', but it's totally up to you.

Great

Just a little curious about the lack of display units. I know you have your reasons but I thought the Nightingale was a thief. If I was a thief, I'd want to show off some of my greatest acomplishments. Some of the stuff is quite exquisite. Even a type of bookshelf (6 or more) that anything can be placed on it would work so when you look at it, it reminds you how good you really are thanks to Nocturnal. Nightingales do get old and it may be naustalgic.
Nice mod you made.

Destro Nov 7, 2013 @ 6:11pm
I was wondering if you COULD make a hose mod but turns out you already did, good work btw
JustOnePepsi Oct 26, 2013 @ 2:31pm
It looks decent enough, though I think some improvements could be made. Maybe having it appear to be a normal house, in the event that intruders DO find it, but include a hidden wardrobe-type door that leads to a hidden room with the statue and some other aspects (mannequin, enchanter, etc). I think it would also be interesting if the house required a key to enter, which could only be found in a chest or something in Nightingale Hall.

I had always wondered why they never included the aspect of "cleaning up" Nightingale Hall into some kind of hidden base of operations after completing the Thieves Guild quests. In my opinion, this mod could server as an alternative to that. "Oh, it doesn't matter, we have this nice little cabin over by the Sepulcher anyway..."

Maybe I'm just overthinking it. lol
magegang  [author] Oct 25, 2013 @ 6:14pm
Gee thanks... At least you are honest I suppose.
Jayfiction Oct 25, 2013 @ 5:51pm

Faded Oct 18, 2013 @ 10:22am

Awesome work man. Thumbs up from me!
magegang  [author] Sep 24, 2013 @ 4:17pm
Its ment to be a hideout... for a nightingale. Not the bannered mare.
mycastlecellar Sep 24, 2013 @ 10:36am
It's lacking warmth. To cave like. Not where I would want to be. It's just cold and uninviting. Try something else.
j-star1196 Sep 20, 2013 @ 1:41am
i don't know if its even posible but maybe you can ask some one who can help you with that would make it one of the best mods there is its like restarting the blades :D

j-star1196 Sep 19, 2013 @ 5:44am

magegang  [author] Sep 14, 2013 @ 10:02pm
@tmgrin It will be put there eventually, when I get my nexus account sorted, but did you know you can use the Mod Manager with steam mods? I do it all the time. You just donload them through the steam subscription and then you can manage them in NMM
