@Sinntha I recommend making several saves for each playthough (like every major or minor advance), so you could try to detect the issue and prevent it. Often it causes by the AI trying to do things that game won't allow, like invade one planet by three different factions simultaniosly

Hated the mod at first but grew to love it. Not a fan of the relentless, failed counterattacks by the AI but I dont know what else they could do other than apply constant pressure to see if you break. My game froze at month 575; music plays but everything else is frozen. Was a bummer to waste so much time and not be able to complete the game; loading prior saves did not remedy things. Seems like once it locks up, then it is broken. Going to fiddle with it some more and maybe try one more game but if it locks up again, will probably pass until something more stable is out.

Considering the mod costs nothing, I must say "thank you" for those that put in the work to make such a dynamic change to the original core game. Whether my next attempt works or freezes, it was nearly 100 hours of fun/challenge.

to a degree I get it, you guys wanted some granularity for your separate-from-the-rest sergeants and AT, but with this implementation you really shouldn't have bothered, keeping infantry in squads as is done in the base game is vastly superior, and that's why that's the route taken by every modern RTS that actually sells

wtf is the ground design intention with this mod? booted up beginner web way w/ empire just to see how it differs from vanilla, space stuff is decent and gave me high hopes but what the hell were these guys smoking when they were creating the infantry?? unit sorting is just universally wack with this mod -- why are my tie fighters auto-sorted with a lambda transport?

do you expect people to fiddle with the unit selector and manually group up infantry sections on invasion deployment? what other comparable RTS separates infantry down to 2 man teams? not wargame, warno, or broken arrow. hell, call to arms & company of heroes give you individual soldier control if you so desire, and yet they still have platoon-level auto grouping because they weren't on whatever fent-tylenol hybrid these guys were.

When i start a galactic conquest, most buttons read something like text_object_star_system etc. Is it bugged?

This is a fun mod and despite me being bad and struggling with the sometimes nonstop attacks I only have one request.
I dunno if this is a known issue or not, but I have a reoccuring issue of space battles being made to a draw where I have to auto resolve and most likely lost a winable battle. This seems to be because the AI's reinforcements get stuck on attacking the placeholder for the orbital cannon and not always coming to fight me. if I have ships left, I can lure them in, but if I only have the station left it never seems to end.
I did just try putting one such space battle on fast forward before I went to bed and even when I left for work to see if the AI would ever just attack the station, but they never left the cannon placeholder.

Kind of a shame there's no pure Clone Wars submod for this as far as I can see, only the Clone Wars Holdouts one (which is great, by the way). Any future plans for that?

In GC, why does Mon Calamari build CIS ships but not you know, their own? Also, Rebels only seem to be able to build frigates despite having a level 3 shipyard.

i was upgrading my space stations the entire time during a skirmish and upgraded to tarkiin doctrine and couldnt build anything more then a arquitens and the rebels are alr over here witha fleet of like a kajillion assaulting me

The Holdout Factions sub mod allows you to play as CIS and Republic factions. I'm runnuing it with this 4 version. Not sure if the submod would work with 5, as there are many differences. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794270450

4.0 is actually unplayable. I had to abandon my campaign that I already spent numerous hours on. I highly recommend using this mod for SKIRMISH BATTLES ONLY, I strongly advise NOBODY to play the campaign until the stability issues are addressed.

Mods were not working - some players found ways to make mods work through using MODPATH and FoC Options>Mods - thanks for that, but FoC options only allows to select 1 mod at each time. Since submods needs the parent mod to work .. How do we make submods to work again?

I was playing this mod just early today and all was ok (set/23), and a few hours later the game won't to launch any mod. Now it just launches Forces of Corruption plain and simple. I had a Steam client update today, other than that.. no changes in any options.

ISD 2s broken wont target some ships/aall space stations. when u click on a target it will just move itself to a stupid position and not fire at all

Real shame the mod team has been disbanded if that's true. Mod would be truly perfect if that one lame, unavoidable game breaking freeze after a exact specific amount of play time was fixed.

im not sure why, but i cannot move past month 281 in my game. i have a save at month 279, but for whatever reason it will crash to desktop on the 4th tick of month 281 without fail.

Great mod - but seems to frequent crashes and become unstable in the late game. Usually as early as month 120, as late as month 170. And its a much slower burn compared to other mods.

Yes, I do make unique saves every time. No I don't save while paused.
To be fair - could be because I like to build an overwhelming force before rolling in possibly.
