hey, is it possible to make a scp foundation personal npc and pm? like two factions one foundation and one chaos? theres barely any on the workshop that are good, also is it possible to add more then one mtf? like beta-7 and nu-7 with hp?

Im not against the idea, but adding another set of models is like 50MBs so ehhhhh has to be something different from the existing ones.

Gasmask variant with a filter in front of the mask? (They look sorta similar to the ones from the soldiers in the l4d sacrifice comics)

Cook didnt work out, legacy berets are coming though, with some minor fixes.

While i like the LT_commander mesh, i also wanna feel like i dont wanna stray too far from the original packs assets, both cannot coexist because of how the NPC bodygroups work with the RNG script (already pushing 53 different headgear variations).

The multicam in this pack isnt the same as the US Army's current OCP so it will look different, if that is what you're asking about. But every military in the world is using some kid of multicam

Pretty much all the original textures were made over a decade ago, i personally haven't touched them, i only remade the normalmap's because there have been better ways to make them since the packs inception and trying to make additions ive made match the other original bodygroup's.

the multicam one looks way too bright and blank to me, and it sticks out a bit because of it. I think the contrast should be a bit bigger to make it look more legit

I love shooting the bald ones in the head and watching their faces turn red its hilarious. Even more enjoyable with the reagdoll mod where they hold their heads and convulse.

I'm so glad you made them into bodygroups! They were such a pain to manually randomize, I also love how you made them more like actual PMCs instead of generic soldier packs. Great overhaul to a mod that's been out for more than 2 years.

had to double check, you did remove them :( i would try to get my hands onto that metropolice pmcs .phys and apply it to the current models, if you think its worth a shot or havent tried already?

Any change ive tried makes them behave more weirdly, as they are is fine tbh for gameplay centric stuff, for posing not so much, probably would need me to rerig the models to have them be like the citizens which is like, no.

Collision models need to have the exact same bones as the main model as the only requirement, Playermodels and NPCs use the universal to source valvebiped rig, which is why i can just apply the citizen one easily, do not replace the phys file unless you know what you are doing.

really weird. what about the combine solider your mod puts in? thats one of the best settings ive seen on a ragdoll ever. they have the same body mesh? not sure how gmod ragdolls are setup to be honest. but back in the css days you could download a .phys (i think) and apply it to any model by just renaiming it to leet.phys or pheonix.phys (gives the skeletons are set up the same?)
anyhow the your characters got gaskmasks so the snout should be fine either way right?

really enjoy the body groups, big thumbs up

they do appear to fall slowly and "keep upright" and overall pretty stiff as it is now.

it just seems pretty weird that the "combine solider" (the "sas" with the metropolice gasmask) has so good physics but the rest dont, given they use the same body mesh??

Its their collision model, i tried using the ones from citizens ( Metropolice has too long of a snout head because its supposed to yknow, fit the model its made for) and imported the citizen settings it caused the ragdolls to fall slowly and twitch out and generally behave strangely.

could you enhance the ragdoll physics a bit? they feel.. really stiff and wonky. maybe if possible use the ones from the metropolice?

Not really no, you can however just manually set the bodygroups in the context menu if there is one you need or something.

the lua randomizes the bodygroups every time a NPC is spawned for the first time, im about to add two more now that i forgot after testing.

Because 84 seperate models causing it to be nearly 450MBs is pretty unreasonable than just turning them into one model with the bodygroups of all 84 of them?

Probably need to re-download it, unsub, delete the gma file on your PC and then re-sub.
