Hey Zim, I went through comments and I don't think I saw anyone mention this... If they did, I'm sorry. Anyhoo, I have the Improved Artifacts collection of yours off Nexus, but my Nettlebane seems to be having a minor issue. Whenever I attack a Spriggan, either dead or alive, it would not give me the additional inventory. I just noticed it saying insufficient charge, but I cannot recharge the weapon... Anything you can do to point me towards a fix? I have it at the bottom of my load order already... Thanks, and keep up your great mods! :steamhappy:

nice to see Nettlebane as something other than a glorified paper weight once the quest is done lol. now it is my hunters secondary weapon
Mr. Blue Aug 19, 2015 @ 12:31am
why do you need dawngard? nettle bain is in vinilla?
Daglez Jul 14, 2015 @ 3:21am
hmm... Chokeberries-Jarrin Root-Nightshade??? Best Poison Ever!!! :)
Procyon Dei Jun 2, 2015 @ 4:29pm
Maybe so, but being the same mesh still bothers me, that's just me though. I know it has a root-like pattern along the blade which is cool I guess.
Zim  [author] Jun 2, 2015 @ 10:08am
RaccoonGahd...look again mate, the nettlebane has the same mesh as an ebony dagger, but its texture is significantly different...ebony daggers look metallic and have patterns etched on, Nettlebane actually looks like its made of ebony leaves to me
Procyon Dei Jun 1, 2015 @ 6:39pm
Why not change the looks too? Nettlebane's appearance is not so unique as it resembles an ebony dagger, with the only difference being in the stats.
Zim  [author] Jun 1, 2015 @ 10:46am
[TTG]shiromoon...does sound like a mod conflict, could be one of those mods though can't say for sure. Your idea to install nettlebane after everything else could work...again not 100% sure, but I think it probably would work. Worth a go at least.
[TTG]shiromoon May 31, 2015 @ 4:12am
zim do you know of any mod that actually changes the enchantment of your nettlebane to drain 30 points of magicka on hit? ONLY the enchantment on your nettlebane was changed. When i tried finding the codes for the 4 alchemical ingredients you added in, i was able to find them.

Right now i have your improved artifacts collection installed and i suspect that one of the following mods might have changed only the enchantment on the nettlebane.

- skyrim redone (and its patches)
- perkus maximus (and its patches)
- crafting overhaul
- weapons and armor fixes remake
- clothing and clutter fixes

(these are the only ones from my list that would change vanilla weapons)

or if you're unable to see what mod causes the problem, i'm thinking of installing your nettlebane improved on top of your improved artifact collection and placing the nettlebane improved mod at the bottom of the load list. Will that cause the game to crash?
Zim  [author] Apr 14, 2015 @ 12:26pm
Chi...."almost"
SocialAnxiety Apr 12, 2015 @ 2:27pm
"Unique in appearence" its almost Identical to the ebony dagger.

Thanks alot :DDD ! And I still love all you improvement mods! so keep the good work :D
Zim  [author] Jul 3, 2014 @ 5:08am
EXdevil....this is a common bug with this mod...I have mentioned it in the description. You have two options: 1) reload a previous save, or 2) open the console and type in the command: Setstage T03 30

During the quest , when I'm supposed to find nettlebane , I killed the hagraven , to the dagger but the quest didnt want to valid , I tried to download the mod out , nothing happenned neither , anyone could help me please?
[TTG]shiromoon Jun 22, 2014 @ 9:23pm
ah i see k thanks it works now.
Zim  [author] Jun 16, 2014 @ 4:05pm
[TTG]shiromoon...i also have the SKSE thing and i have no problems. When I say below, you definitely want it below the patch...otherwise the patch will just override the mod
[TTG]shiromoon Jun 14, 2014 @ 11:47pm
yup i confirmed that the mod is properly downloaded. When i go to data files, the file does appear. When you say bottom of the load order, does it also mean it should go below the unofficial patches for skyrim, etc? Or should i be putting it just above them? Cause this as well as the blade of woe improved mod aren't being represented ingame even though they appear in my data files.

Could it be because i'm using the skse loader to play the game thats causing the problem?
Zim  [author] Jun 14, 2014 @ 7:41am
[TTG]shiromoon...it sounds to me like the mod isn't being implemented at all...do you know if the base damage has been raised? I'd suggest moving the mod to the bottom of the load order, and since it's a steam download, make sure it is properly downloaded by opening up the loading screen and waiting for all the mods to properly update
[TTG]shiromoon Jun 13, 2014 @ 10:02pm
want to check, is it normal for the nettlebane with your mod for me not to able to see any enchantment on it when i view it in the weapons page?

Basically i don't see the Enchantment: 50% more damage to Spriggan foes; allows you to access the hidden inventory of Spriggans, in which you have the following chances of finding particular loot when i'm viewing it. It's just blank.
jjb-54 Jun 9, 2014 @ 7:54am
Face Palm - I just realized something. I had to re-install CK because of a bad download and forgot to re-update the INI for the other DLC ... I'll let you know what I find.

Since I did the additions - I simply forgot to re-do them with the re-install of CK. My bad.
Zim  [author] Jun 8, 2014 @ 11:14pm
how odd...you do have dawnguard, right? if you give me a link to this R&D harvesting mod, I'll check for conflicts for you
jjb-54 Jun 8, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Okay - Question --- I'm trying to see in Creation Kit if your mod is in minor annoyance conflict with R&D harvesting. So I tried to open it and it crashes CK every time. It is only this mod as I can look at any other mod with no issues.

Thanks .. Jj
Zim  [author] May 9, 2014 @ 12:43am
Jbroeder....this isn't a problem I personally have experienced, and I haven't heard the complaint before, so I'm inclined to think most people don't suffer from this bug. It may be that the mod is clashing with another mod, or it might just be struggling with your system. there's nothing i can do im afraid
Myth0Logic May 8, 2014 @ 1:45pm
It is impossible to place Nettlebane at a weapon plaque/rack with this mod. I don't now about the other weapons (in your other mods), I haven't tried. When you try to place it on a rack/plaque it will just fly of (in my game it always flew of to the right) en land on the ground.
Undead_Lucifer66 Mar 26, 2014 @ 6:53am
ahh ok, ive only ever played skyrim
Zim  [author] Mar 26, 2014 @ 5:31am
mandrake root and worm wood are ingredients that have appeared in previous elder scrolls games...Worm wood could be found in the Jerall Mountains in ES IV: Oblivion, and this mountain range marks the border between Skyrim and Cyrodiil...Mandrake plants are rare, but they are likely to be well known by spriggans as the plant has deeply magical properties. The spriggan heart is a bit of artistic license on my part. Can't remember what they all do, but I based the effects on previous elder scrolls games
Undead_Lucifer66 Mar 26, 2014 @ 1:03am
what does spriggan heart, mandrake root and worm wood do?, are they native to skyrim? ive never heard fo them
jjb-54 Feb 23, 2014 @ 1:03pm
Again - just my note of appreciation for such a great mod ... this is a must have as it just makes sense with Nettlebane. Thanks for making such a simple improvement. :)
saintmichael Jan 18, 2014 @ 8:44am
jjb-54- Thank You
jjb-54 Nov 19, 2013 @ 3:45pm
Yuusou - did you read the above description and known bug and fix?

WARNING: This mod has a bug with a very simple fix that may prevent progression of the quest: The Blessings of Nature. When taking Nettlebane from the Hagraven's body, the quest may not update properly; if this happens, you can either reload a previous save, which should fix the problem, or type in the console command: "Setstage T03 30"
jjb-54 Nov 18, 2013 @ 3:00pm
Again, I just want to say - THANK YOU!!

You made this so much more valuable and actually worth having! Thanks!
♥AGuyNamedDave Oct 30, 2013 @ 3:59pm
I picked up nettlebane off the hagraven and it had the normal stats :/
Zim  [author] Oct 21, 2013 @ 7:36pm
Voidcube......Keening's not on my to-do list I'm afraid, but I've already made a Harkon's Sword mod. It's about to get a bit of an update that's gonna change some things....the mechanics aren't quite perfected yet, but they're on the way
Voidborn Oct 21, 2013 @ 12:15pm
Zim! I've started looking at your mods, and they are wonderful! Could you please make a improved keening and improved harkons sword? I would be very grateful!
If I already have nettlebane and install this mod, will my game become buggy? That happened to my main character when I installed new mods, and I aren't sure if I want to risk it.
Anyway, keep on the good work!
Zim  [author] Sep 20, 2013 @ 7:11pm
=(e)= sittingduck....the mod works by applying a permanent ability to spriggan foes which adds the items to their inventory....so it doesn't alter the loot that is added on death in any way.
=(e)= sittingduck Sep 20, 2013 @ 5:21pm
Would this mob conflict with another mod that changes spriggan's loot table or is it a new loot table with the Nettlebane equiped? Thanks in advance.
VegladeX Sep 19, 2013 @ 7:47am
Oh wait, looking through them, I've got a different Daedric improvement pack...
You know what, I think I'll probably switch to this pack!
VegladeX Sep 19, 2013 @ 7:45am
Great.
Weirdly enough, I've already got one of them!
Zim  [author] Sep 18, 2013 @ 8:47am
VegladeX....glad you like it :) that's a list of other Artifact Improvement mods ive made
VegladeX Sep 18, 2013 @ 8:07am
Btw, what's the list of mods from line 14 to line 20 about?
Are they recommended, supplementary, part of a pack or conflict with this mod?
VegladeX Sep 18, 2013 @ 8:05am
You know, I did this quest incredibly early on, hoping for a powerful dagger for my Khajiit assassin character and ended up with a knife that was barely used until it was outclassed by elven daggers; this mod is just what I was looking for to give me SOMETHING to use it for! Thanks so much!:markarth:
Greg Abott is a Little Piss Baby Sep 18, 2013 @ 4:23am
Nice, i'm going to get Nettlebane out of my house and actually use it now.
jjb-54 Sep 14, 2013 @ 9:20am
Zim, Thanks for the quick turn around - and -> I like the Spriggan heart, nice!! That makes a lot of sense when you stop to see how many 'dead spriggan heads' are in Forsworn camps, that makes a whole lot of sense! I have to agree with another post, this actually makes Nettlebane very worth while, very! Endorsed!
Zim  [author] Sep 14, 2013 @ 1:13am
jjb-54....Spriggans already have a taproot on them when they die...the taproot is sort of like the source of their power, so they only need the one....no use adding another. Wormwood and mandrake root are ingredients from Oblivion. The spriggan heart is more of an artistic choice...sort of an opportunity for me to add some mystery into the whole thing. No one seems to know where Briar Hearts come from, and this is a small suggestion that spriggans may be the key
jjb-54 Sep 13, 2013 @ 9:10pm
I see that you forgot one thing that should be in the 100% or at least 50% - Taproot.

Now admittedly I do not know what - Spriggan Heart - Wormwood - Mandrake Root are? So is Spriggan Heart the same as Taproot?
ret7army Sep 13, 2013 @ 6:56pm
interesting, had just decided to restart skyrim and have recently completed this quest ... now have a reason to hold onto this dagger
Zim  [author] Sep 13, 2013 @ 9:40am
jjb-54....yep
jjb-54 Sep 13, 2013 @ 9:09am
Can this be used even after long finishing the quest?
Taleonas Sep 12, 2013 @ 12:46pm
Really good mod. Nettlebane was quite lame when I got it but this actually makes it worth something.
ArdimalYroth Sep 12, 2013 @ 11:49am
Jarrin root cannot be planted but there is a mod to do that specifically
