Hey Razzle, thank you very much for the kind words! So what you are refering to is without a doubt due to the Premium Tribe invasion mod, as it did modify a majority of the treasure site reward data.
I believe the gold you get from choosing troops is the excess gold value that units chosen do not have (example : reward value set to 500, but the gold price from units proposed is equal to 300 so there are 200 remaining), but it's not cumulative with the quantity you would have gotten from choosing the gold reward choice.
In short, you should still get (much) more gold by choosing the Gold reward instead of the Unit reward. If it's not the case then there is something wrong; could you maybe do the test when you can? Save before clearing a dungeon, then choose gold write down the value choose unit write down the value as well and normally they should be different.

Hi Ayalin, First og all amazing work you have done with the mods! You have given me and my hardcore friends what feels like a whole new game to enjoy immmensly! I have one bug, I would like to bring to your attention though: When emptying a dungeon, you can usually choose between troops or a gold rewards, you still can, but when you choose the troops, you get the gold reward anyway. It happens every time, I empty a dungeon with your premium mods, but not without them. So I hope, you will have time to look into, what is causing that. I am using all your recommended premium mods only. Thanks again for these amazing mods!

yo dev, check the "soul reaper" ability on the spirit of carnage. it says it gives a damage bonus. (thinking that's just a typo tho)

To cut things short, the best is to unselect all specialisations first before looking at available combinations.

So I believe it's because you already picked one of the component from Lord of Carnage; I did the system so that you cannot pick a combination if you have already selected a segment of the combination. This is to avoid having duplicates in the spell book.

found a bit of a bug. so i see a specialization in the compendium called "lord of carnage" but i do not see it among the selectable specilizations

Hello DoYou thank you for the kind words :) there is a mod whiches tries to achieve that, but this is much more complex than mixing sub specialisation. From what I remember it creates quite a few bugs / incompatibility issues.

yeah ok you are not the first mentioning it, and I experienced it in my games as well, it's kind of not great that's true, I did not anticipate that on my side. I checked if combined spec could be removed from the empire quest but unfortunately it's not possible. The only fix is indeed to remove these spec from the game but it means I need to do a second mod for that... It's not my priority at the moment Cookies, I am testing aow 4. It's something in my radar though, but I can't tell I will fix it in the near future.

well i'm looking to do a roughly fair and ballanced run... ish... and i go for the empire quest that gives you two new specilizations for being the first person to exhaust your researches. soooo if that can give you ANY spell specilzation, then it could give me one of the combined ones or perhaps even thge super combined one that just give syou everything

Hmm regarding grey guard and some kind of city bonus like what the 2 other have, it's definitely a good idea. I don't want to add another skill to one spec and not to all the others so haha I need to add one skill to everyone if I do that^^ or replace an existing skill. Will think about it :)
Conflux is super good dyna ^^ for summoning classes like sorce/necro/druid or (ayalin) rogue. It does not offer much battle spell though, so you might want to pair it with other elemental sub spec for example.

So random thought, probably for good reason but I was wondering if there will ever be a Dusk/Crusade for Grey Guard's Scale of Fortune to kind of go along with the alignments?
Shadowborn has Fallen Angels, Dusk, Buffs to dedicated to evil units
Keeper of Peace has Arch angels, Crusade for prod, Buffs to dedicated to good units
Grey Guard has the Ghtonic Guardians, Nothing for prod I believe, Buffs to dedicated to neutral units

Okay Star-X I have read through it- I kinda disagree with the point of the mod from a balancing perspective. The whole point of alignment specialisations is to offer you stronger skills/spells than average in exchange for being forced to "grind" your alignment by playing a certain way and interacting with other Dwellings / players in a certain way. That's the real cost of using these specialisations as intended by the original design.
This being said, I can nonetheless do some kind of quick fix through a compatibility mod (like adding alignment to spells for example, it's not long to do), but I will not do or fix other features of the mod which potentially requires more than 1 hour of work.

Requesting compatibility patch for Alignment Compatibility Mod.

Can't honestly play without that one as it completely fixes the alignment system to not be a weight around your neck.

Yeah City enchantment + T4 Summons make them kinda outshine all the other spec. Like you mentioned you want one of them at least. The only drawback is that they force you to play in a certain way, but if that's your plan anyway, it's not really a big cost.
Why not for creation+destruction- could be some kind of chaotic lord^^

Awesome thank you for confirming the bug and letting me know I am not crazy :) Also i get what you mean about the 3 alignment specializations, they almost do feel mandatory when playing. I I almost always feel like i have to take one of the three just because their t4s are so strong and the passive buffs to the empire/units are really good as well. Also have you though of doing a combo master of creation/master of destruction specialization? I

arfffff I guess I forgot to bind grey guard spells to Lord of Balance- it's just a mistake from me. I will update when I get the time!
Regarding the city spell - I kinda agree with you in the sense that they are really important and needed for various synergies, but at the same time it feels like they are maybe too good... I am a bit thorned about them to be fair, these three spec in general outshine the other spec too much I feel, so not sure they deserve a buff...
It would take one small setting change to make them "mandatory" in the research book FYI, it's like really simple to do, 20 min work kinda. I am happy to test this change for some time and maybe revert it later if it really feels too OP you know.

Can confirm Lord of Balance is not showing Grey Guard adept/master spells, started game with just grey guard master 2 and was able to get grey guard spells researched

So Lord of Balance may be bugged, unless Grey Guard abilities have a turn buffer before they show up in your research list I was unable to research any of them using debugg and cheats to research all of my spells on turn one. I was however able to research all of the conflux master spells for Lord of Balance

Is there a way to make it so the Keeper of the Peace, Grey Guard and Shadowkeeper city spells that make your units/heroes dedicated to good/evi/neutral to be baked into the specializations or have the spell start as known/in your research book? I have noticed when taking their Lord of Good/Balance/Evil variants or taking other masteries it can be almost impossible even with seeking inspiration to get them to appear in your spell list. Maybe make the spells work in a tier list format like the class units so you always start with them and can work up to the master summons?

Re Nexious I just checked and I don't think it's possible to remove the new spec from the All knowing empire quest unfortunately :/ it seems to be pretty hard coded in the game.. :( but you will have a consolation prize tomorrow ! :p (new mod should be out)

Yes, as far as I know the All Knowing empire quest just grants you 2 random specialisations which by itself is strong but is complete bonkers if it hits the combo skills. If it can't be fixed I guess I will have to remove empire quests, not a major issue but hey it is a thing.

Indeed, I play with a friend sometimes and we don't use the combo specialisations as they are too powerful but then when someone got the All Knowing and hits one of the combo skills it is tilted waaay in their favor.

I have run into a certain problem with the combo specialisations as when someone completes the "All Knowing" empire quest they might get one of those and get some insane advantage. Is there a way to prevent them from being picked from All Knowing?

Another small suggestion, can you make the hand of the blood upgrade rely on the spirit of the fallen warrior spell by any chance? I had a necro playthrough yesterday where I had the evolve unlocked, but after many, many inspires I couldn’t get the unit unlocked itself

Hmm, I get that- it works really well with other classes but feels like it falls a little short with necro (no synergy with heal undead, lifesteal from vamp hunger etc.) would be an interesting idea, maybe a separate optional patch for the necromancer mod’s harbinger skill? Like including incorporeal units to that as I don’t know if there are any other incorporeal units available that aren’t undead already (lost soul, banshee, reaper, wraith and wraith king) adds another layer to the hero upgrade ^^

Hey Dyna; Yes adding more starting spec make them drown each other. Depends how much you like RNG (or not) in your game. For the Hand of the blood god / Fallen warrior you are making a good point, I am not sure it should be undead though but I think it is supposed to have the same requisite as the Fantasm warrior from the Sorcerer class? I will check it.

Question, do you know if there's any way in the game to make your Hand Of The Blood God / Spirit Of The Fallen Warrior undead? They can't be ghouled though the well of souls or necromancer's harbingers of death (which states no dragons, elementals, boats or machines) but I don't think they're elementals?) Would make them a little better with Vampiric Hunger and the Eager Spirits (Necromancer hero upgrade for 50% extra EXP to help them evolve/rank up)

BUT these are all because of my own decisions to choose more specializations and test out some combos, the mod is amazing I love them (I love Sacrificial Rites from Blood Adept in combination with Expander, haven't been able to utilize blood master yet but they have some pretty interesting abilities) Dusk from Shadowborn master is one of my personal favorites, anyway as always your mods are the best keep it up!

So far I've been very unsure about the new specializations
The combinations are very interesting and can be very strong but it also slows down the progression overall when you have too many (Such as God Of War, I love academician and expander but I don't get to use them much as the other T1/T2 skills are cluttering the research book, even made me install the free inspiration mod and couldn't get the ones I wanted after 10 tries so I cut it down haha)
Strangely enough, I guess because it got too cluttered but I couldn't for the life of me get my Exalted Martyr research which resulted in slowing down getting some cheap exalteds in my Theocrat run which I normally like to get ASAP, it really made me wish this game allowed for knowledge to carry over between turns or, like mentioned there'd be more slots somehow

Ayalin yea you have a point I jumped the gun with out thinking. I also have 2 guys that love to cheat and out lineiny house rules they find new rules to break. will be hard to stop them form wonting to use your full mod.... but yes that is a great point will have to run that point just runing single specs.. thank again Ayalin for all your hard work. on makeing this game more fun I have 6 guys come over and all of us sit here on 1 pc waching us all get beat downs mostly form independed armys.. we have over 3,000 hours into this game and I have 300 games but only this game above all others calls people to my house to run games on my $8,000 dollor desk top computer. 2,000 dollor monitor and 1100 dollor speaking set up. .... thanx for your help and reply on this matter Ayalin :)

With the wild variations you can do with this, do you think it's somehow possible to mod in a second page of the research book? Haven't really thought of it until now (However, inspire is also a skill which I always forget about so that'll fix the issue anyway haha)
