Untested, but until that's fixed, you should be able to bypass by adding into `initServer.sqf` an `EntityCreated`/`EntityRespawned` mission EH (`addMissionEventHandler`) that runs `removeGoggles` on the unit if the `goggles` command matches any of the unwanted masks partially or fully (`_match in _gogglesName`). Be sure to get the capitalization right for performance.

The fact that BLUFOR units auto-spawn with masks on means I literally can't use this mod with any of my stuff. And there's no CBA settings, either.

Anyone have any idea why it would not launch due to a missing addon "JHSK_contam_gear_suits"?? Friend has lost his mind trying to load, server wont start because of this. Mod has been loaded through proper procedure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@sunny :A contamination gear with folded up sleeves is pointless. If it gives you heat and you don't need protection, you take it off.
Have you ever seen someone in your life wearing a protective suit that has rolled up sleeves? even in some movie? I never. Because it doesn't make sense.

after installing the JSHK contamination area mod along side this one in particular I noticed the hooded masks are been overwritten (all their variants) to the arid one, the uniforms are fine thou

@AveryThrKitty: Fair point, I was learning a lot when pulling this from the original source as well as doing all that macro work to make adding future textures easier and hadn’t gone back to have a better inheritance setup. I’ll get around to it at some point. Thanks.

@Eliax: Well, it's a mod that everyone can download....so yes? As I've told people in the past, aside from the textures themselves and the alterations to the config that I've made, this project was pulled from an open source previously, so I have no rights limit it's shareable capacity. Do with it what you will, I would prefer you make sure to keep everyone credited where necessary too please.

Odd, for me when viewing them in the arsenal, the textures are all MTP, and the eyes are like a jumbled texture, might be an incompatible mod I was running alongside it

Ignoring a friend request isn’t really blocking. I used a publicly avaiable source to make this, so I wouldn’t have an issue if you wanted to do your own thing with it. I certainly don’t have the time. Could have just easy asked here in the first place, I can’t just assume that a random person on Steam that adds me wants to talk about those kinds of things anyhow.

well I figured the mask out that for AI's it works but for players it disappears as if it was never placed on them

@[SOB-GUARD]Guardian: As far as the gas mask goes, your player profile overwrites the facewear that you apply in the editor unless you apply it via the unit init, see more on how to fix it here: https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/197298-facewear-not-working/

For the placement, you can sync that module to objects or groups of objects to create areas on them (if you enable that option). If you don’t want that you can just ignore that option entirely. I had planned on making a video or something 2 years ago but life got in the way. I have some time at the moment but can’t promise anything.

So im slightly confused about the Radiation placement stuff, it talking about Apply To: synced groups and all that. . . what is it talking about? and if its possible could you add a video or something so i could watch and all that? that'd be great!

I can confirm it was a mod conflict as I was running a pretty hefty mod list. I tried running the game vanilla with just this mod and it is now working.

@Marshall V: Hm, strange. I also can't seem to replicate the issue. Are you running all vanilla plus this mod? Or are you running anything else that may interfere? If you're mission (or whatever) setup is basic enough I wouldn't mind taking a look.

The camo on the hoods for the gas masks dont change for me in the arsenal when attempting to cycle through the different options. Looks like it stuck on some woodland camo. However on the S10 gas masks the reflection on the eyewear seems to change, but not the hood itself.

@0UT0FAMM0: Sure it’s possible, you just need to convince anyone who can make textures lol. As stated in the description above I outsourced all of the texture work and pulled the models from an open source mod. I did a lot of the config work for my side of things, but otherwise I’m in an area that I have little to no experience :).

@ELANTitan: As stated in the description, I did not and could not make any of the models (also means I'm not the first to release the M40) I simply used a mod that was available to the community. Sorry if this M40 isn't compatible with your other mod.

It's a great mod. You seem to be the first person in the community to make an M40 mask. I really hope you can make an M40 gas mask compatible with DHI pagst helmet.
