If you wish to do multiple laps you can easily not use qualy mode.

I understand what you are saying, however the implementation of qualy mode is limited by the games engine. This is the best way to simulate what they had IRL as they only use it in qualifying 3 IRL as it hurts the engine.

That really shouldn't be since Formula 1 engines are doing far more than 1 quali lap in their life.

The engine will blow up after more than a lap in qualifying mode (engine mode), hence why its called qualy mode. The other thing that will hurt the engine is very aggressive rapid downshifts especially if the engine is in qualy mode.

You can move it forward using seat forward and its just fine in VR. (this avoids the bug mentioned in the first comment)

The seat is way to far backward in vr

Make sure your seat position isnt in the minus (forwards and backwards). If you go too far into the minus this will occur, rFactor 2 bug.

if you hit a wall there is a black circle in front of you and if you change camera angle the same happens and i have to quit the lobby to fix it
