It's been some months now, after more chances to play this, the frame drop on way to capture A seems consistently like the early feedback in this thread. But for me it's a short stutter period like something was caching

Commando Cat, have you tried comparing your system with the rest of your group to see what the differences are? Hardware, os, graphics driver, etc?

Same for my group. Had to remove the map from rotation. Weirdly though, I get totally 0 frame rate drops. My game is still silky smooth. But my friends all have 1-2 fps.

Doesn't work for this. Yes, I've seen that bug, but this is different. Happens consistently every time. And it not Looking, its moving, sound, turning, every aspect until you leave the area. And it happens even when this is the first map played, so no materials are being reused since there were no previous maps.

The people having frame rate drop looking at certain directions just need to relaunch the game. This is a 64bit patch bug that reuses materials loaded from pervious maps. No frame rate drops for me so far. Great map!

This relaunch game trick works on all maps that get frame drops that console filter does not help with.

I do like the changes to you've made to Alpha, but I have the same issues as the others playing checkpoint frames rate drops are a big problem.

I am have the same issues as Major Burns. The frame rate goes to hell when crossing the street to get to checkpoint A. It makes the map unplayable. This sucks because I really like this map.

Great frame rates in the new area added. Its the old portion of the map going into checkpoint A's building that has bad frame rates. Maybe more, but I stop at A.
It happens in push also.

We play checkpoint on the server.
FYI: system is an I7-4700 running at 4 ghz.,
32G memory and a GTX1080 pgrahics card.

i added occluders that should improves the framerate.it's surprising that you get 1-2 fps. but i can't really tell since i only play push, flawlessly so far.

Going to the building checkpoint A is in, everything goes stuttery, as in 1 or 2 frames per second.
The new section is smooth. Anyone else have this problem? I can't play this map because of that.

yes i'm reworking the map to not trigger the entities limit. i will re-release the map soon

I added this new id# 1715300726 and takbar_b6 to the appropriate files but when I restart the server there is no folder in my steamapps/workshop/content/222880, and no map showing up in the server list.

Hello,
I had takbar_b6 on my server and today it prevented my server from starting. I see it has been resubmitted with a different id number( I had 975617955). The 975 version was removed from the subscribed_file_ids.txt file and my mapcycle files but is still in the 222880 content folder. Should I delete the takbar_b6 folder and add this new id number to my subscribed_file_ids.txt so the server pulls the new version? It will install the new map version, correct?
I see most of the changes are for Push pvp mode, were there any improvements for checkpoint?

I can launch it in local game, but i also have the server crash. fact is there is less entities than in the previous version.

The server crashes with ED_Alloc: no free edicts when changing to takbar_b6 checkpoint no one on server playing. Tried adding -num_edicts 4096 to the command line and that hasn't helped.

"ED_Alloc: no free edicts" Means server reached entity limit. Reducing dead bodies and dropped guns can help.

My server crashes also. Plus, Takbar has stuttered for awhile now and still does in this version. Only the new area didn't stutter. Not sure what happened in one of the earlier updates that started causing this.
