Hook should be craftable with any ingot.

When you rebalance the fuel consumption, do it for the Kiln only. Your quest said the Kiln is more efficient.

Thanks!! I see I should have put these comments on your Lime Processing mod. I decided to switch out the fuel to use Timber. It's only a slight improvement.

But really, I would like to make a mod to extend the burn time of timbers. Those should last at least two or three times as long as torches / sticks.

@d-dubs thanks for your feedback, I'm glad you like it.
I am going to have a look into the whole crafting processes again in the near future as I am planning to add and change some things for an upcoming wipe on our community server. I'll keep the fuel consumption in mind.

@shad Awesome mod!! This is perfect because I don't really want to play with the water mod. Really like what you did here. However, the Kiln isn't more efficient than the Furnace, as stated in the lime / mortar research quest. Was really hoping it would use less fuel for fire since it's so large, probably retains heat rather incredibly well (small furnace cavity, thick insulating walls).

Right now it burns thru 6 torches just to make ash. 2 copper ingot can be smelted with just 1 torch. Just looking for better balancing here. I realize it makes a lot of bags of ash but the ash pellets require a lot of ash, the quicklime requires a lot of.... etc. Could you fix this please?

I don't have the water mod installed, just this one, yet it still adds water to my world. Im so confused.
Malum1971 Aug 29, 2021 @ 1:18am
@highflyinryan If you have the "clear water" mod installed that is proberly what Fuc... up your "waterworld" mod.

Sea is from the watermod.
shad  [author] Aug 25, 2021 @ 1:03pm
@highflyinryan76 This mod here does not add oceans etc. You're at the wrong place
highflyinryan76 Aug 23, 2021 @ 10:18pm
how do i get rid of the water? i deleted the mod and its still there. All my hard work is under water.

Go to Levos B1 A2 if you cannot find a good place to build well. Dig a little is enough.

Can you make drinks with the water?
Sillls May 23, 2019 @ 5:05am
If you have a mod that adds water such as lakes and rivers to the world. Could you take your bucket and simply dip it into that water to get all you need?
Sillls May 23, 2019 @ 5:04am
Sounds cool but why do you need water (in this game)?
What would you use it for?
Sillls May 23, 2019 @ 5:00am
Can you though the snowballs at people and barbarians? :)
Dr Fraud Apr 17, 2019 @ 4:31pm
@shad No one wants Saltwater Taffy?
Dr Fraud Apr 16, 2019 @ 3:20pm
Could one mod do both? If folks were to load it later in the order a check for Water in ME could run at load. If not found continue as vanilla.
Major mods like ME should be loaded very near first anyway to ensure stability.
Thinkawsomedude16 Apr 16, 2019 @ 5:10am
@shad Maybe two versions of the mod, one for vanilla and one for Peaceman's mod, cause I have a good feeling people would tack it onto their mod list, if that means anything.
shad  [author] Apr 16, 2019 @ 4:36am
@Dr Fraud: I'd rather not want saltwater in my beer ;)

@Thinkawesomedude23: There's no reason for it. The idea is to make it work with vanilla planets, independent of Peaceman's Water mod.
Thinkawsomedude16 Apr 15, 2019 @ 7:39pm
You should just couple this with the already-existing water mod in the game, if that's at all possible.
Dr Fraud Apr 15, 2019 @ 7:17pm
Is it possible to add a check for the bucket hitting water for those that use Water in ME? Not for a water table but rather open water.
shad  [author] Apr 15, 2019 @ 5:48pm
@Dr Fraud: no it does not. It's using the clay voxel layer of the planet as "groundwater level".

@Ashes2007: please read the NOTE at the very bottom. The mod doesn't do anything on its own. It's a resource-base-mod that other mods can use as dependency if they want to add something that requires water as resource.
Shillelagh Apr 15, 2019 @ 4:56pm
Why is water a thing? do you need to drink?
Dr Fraud Apr 15, 2019 @ 2:56pm
Will it recognise the water level created by Water in ME Mod?
Dr Fraud Apr 15, 2019 @ 2:54pm
Very nice
trighap2005 Apr 14, 2019 @ 4:31pm
Awesome idea, dude. I will be looking this over and trying to use it, even though I AM in the Snowy mountains.
