Cool mod! After getting the headress and disenchanting it, I jokingly made "The One Ring" with it XD (a Gold Ring with Ghostwalker enchantment). And since I'm quite far into the game (my player is level 51), the actual sneak bonus in my case is +42.

Love this mod. Please don't take it down.

"[F]ortifies the Sneak skill by 20." Is that in terms of levels, or percentage? Your description implies that it refers to a temporary level increase, but the screenshots indicate a percent.

@zexion i beileve it has to do with your enchant skill

You say +20 sneak, but it shows +62%.. which is it at this point?

You can disenchant the headdress to learn the enchantment in the newest version! :-)

Very cool mod!

Would really enjoy this being an Enchant effect, too.

Geistertanz  [author] Mar 25, 2012 @ 8:52pm

Just checked out your suggstion, Tleno.

The magic effect is called Ghostveil in the creation kit and works just as well on enchanted items (f.e. you can create a Ghostveil Ring by using the console and typing "player.enchantobject 3b97c 103647").

But because the magic effect is only intended to work with the "Philter of the Phantom" potion in-game, any item you create with the Ghostveil effect will have a bugged desciption ("spectral for 0 seconds").

Erm, ugh, as far as I know, this can be easily done, you just need that AbGhostPotion effect instead of ussual one.

Yeah, the problem was that the headgear i was using was unechantable (from a mod)
Geistertanz  [author] Mar 22, 2012 @ 1:26pm
I just re-checked it ingame and it works on helmets as well. It basically uses the same table of available items as the Fortify Conjuration enchantment (head, chest, jewelry). Seems more fitting than hand and feet slots.
Caerlocc Mar 22, 2012 @ 11:38am
.... Ok just solved own question. It enchants chest armor..... any reason for that?
Caerlocc Mar 22, 2012 @ 11:37am
What restrictions are there on what armor it can be enchanted to? Bc I can't use it on headgear.....

An interesting new item, with an actual attempt made to justify it in the setting? This looks promising.

Disenchantable? SOLD, I mean, SUBBED
Geistertanz  [author] Mar 19, 2012 @ 10:15am
Just added it in the new version! The Fortify Sneak part of the enchantment levels a bit too fast in my opinion (see screenshot for value at Enchanting 100 + perk), so I might reduce the base effect's Fortify Sneak to 10 in the next version.

can you disenchant this and use it on anyother gear?
