this feature of the mod is amazing for when it works. some of the new additions, such as boats, don't work super well with this, causing you to just target the boat the whole time. also some mods don't work with this, such as island adventure boats.
it'd be nice to have a button combination to be able to change what you're selecting or to just be able to disable it in the config.
outside of that... somewhat minor nitpick, this mod is essential for controller, thanks for making it.
(i don't expect this to get updated since this hasn't been updated in over 4 years, just thought to still leave a comment.)
Come on, please bruh, if I knew how I'D DO IT MYSELF with or without consent. It's been YEARS now!
Many and really thanks
This would be a problem without the combat changes, but there is enough time to attack the antlion long enough for the "target lock" game mechanic to kick in, and for some reason with the combat changes there is no more target lock.
Please add an extra option for the combat modifier so that I can both lock onto targets (which can EASILY be canceled at any time with the alternate action button FYI), or just change the combat changes entirely so that target locking is included.
This will make the antlion possible to fight, as well as make it a bit easier to track down the weaker targets in groups and take them out first.
* Press Right Trigger to open up inventory management
* Scroll over to any one of the three equipped item slots
* Press LB
* Crash
I don't suppose you could look into this and see if you can fix it when you have some time?
I just have only one feedback.
misc3 + x button -> attack friendly monsters. like chester, friend pig, friend bunny..
and
misc3 + x button -> charging lamp
these functions use same keys, so if I turn on charge lamp option, i can't attack friendly mobs.
even now this mode is very very useful, but fix only this one it will be perfect mode i think.
veryvery thank you for this useful, comfortable mode. (sorry for bad english)
Hm, Also note that if you use the put things in the chest shortcut while still equipped, the game will crash. it's not a very important thing, knowing that, I just unequip the item before using the shortcut, but I just noticed it.
I love this mod, now that the game has a pause mode, it's really interesting to play with controller, with this mod so it's perfect. (sorry for the english, I'm using the translator ;-;)
Like you can't fuel a firepit if a mushlight is nearby. The mod would make me hit a pig half a screen away instead of hitting the butterfly I'm sitting on. Generally the game decides what I want to focus on instead of selecting the nearest thing I'm facing (which is what the game is doing originally).
it is crashing my game when i used that command ... :(
I liked the auto-refuel option, but I prefer to have the force attack option instead.
Many thanks. I can finally make a berrybush farm with simple fences and not status !!!! yay !!!!
There is 1 bug I have encountered that would be awsome if you could fix it. If I press left stick on for example chester or a houndious shootius, I see the button (X or square for me as i'm a ps4 guy) for attack, i assume its a force attack, but when I choose to do so, it wont attack, it wont do anything.
Any way to fix this?
